It probably is. It's probably screaming, "Dude, chill you're gonna tear more muscles!!"
Whatever Johnny has been doing is working so he needs to keep doing it. However, Branch is in denial about his training and how it's destroying his body.1708 total @220 Raw

it really wasn't that bad.
aside from the leg extensions and leg press, the ROM looked okay to me. most bodybuilders don't go past parallel on squats anyway.
those leg extensions were really horrendous though. his ass was out of the seat treating it like it was a power exercise. goodnightsweettendons"If I hit my mom back I'd be dead" - Ronnie Coleman

Do you even eyesight?
I'm really not a ROM fanatic and do partial squats myself, to get my nervous system used to higher loads (I compete in PL), but what the actual FUK is going on with them on the legpress? Why, for what? That's barely more than the look-out from the hooks.Sports Therapy- & Prevention Major - University of Potsdam

That's just because you are clueless. Branch's quad is torn and JoJ has probably the worst legs of all Olympia competitors. So what exactly is working regarding their leg workout again? It tears them apart and still doesn't come with the benefit of a top lower body - great!
They used to have good legs (Branch even more so), but not anymore.Sports Therapy- & Prevention Major - University of Potsdam

I know what you're getting at. Yea he did win the Arnold although he probably shouldnt have. The point is he got away with training like that for years. His bodybhas been declining over the past few years yet he refuses to change and adapt. Just compare his training now to his first DVD. Now it looks laboured and uncomfortable. He may be a pro, it may have worked in the past but it aint working anymore.

In that case I must reply that what Dexter Jackson have done seems to work even better, no known tears or injuries looking fantastic at 40+ year old.
So by that logic we can say that If branch n JoJ would chilled alittle and chosen other ways to stimulate their muscles, since muscle shape is genetic they could have gotten the same or better results without the tears and injuries, and eventually prolonged their careers IMO.has no genetix

No ones disputing his training style has worked, the point is his body is deteriorating now and doesnt seem to want to adjust his training accordingly. Dorian tore his biceps doing 400+lbs underand rows, so he changed to overhand and went lighter and more strict. Branch is doing the same old sh*t and attempting what looks like the same weights, do you see?

He is also 37 years old. Have you seen any pics of Ronnie lately? Every bodybuilder, no matter how they train are training against their biological clock. Some guys, like Dexter, Toney, etc can train well into their 40s, while some bodybuilders peak earlier and decline earlier. Regardless of training style.
