Love how you incorporated a long pipe pull-up bar and a punching bag into your limited space gym.
Look at the TheLeanBeret's outdoor pull-up/ dip set-ups, especially their rig. Also have a look at Valor 2" thick speeding bag platform since you are into boxing.

Good point on the J-hooks. I think my insomnia was getting the best of me.
I scanned the review. Must have missed the 2 bolt comment, the first time around. Once again, insomnia at work. .
I was hoping that Dean had a similar model available, maybe at a lower price. I haven't heard back from him though, so I may just go ahead and order the one from Edge.

That's funny since they're all copies of crepinsek's system at the start. I guess nobody likes ralph.
Edge version is ok, but he really needs to get plastic on there however. A 3/4" plate is going to be brutal on knurling. Or a version with a hardened roller, like Duffin's super monolift or whatever he called it when he was making them. And the bolting could be changed to a wrap around with a side pin like I did on mine. Needs side holes however. But most racks seem to have these now.
Ahhh, so many ideas, so little time.▪█──█▪ Equipment Crew #61 ▪█──█▪

I got a similar email.
I had a 30 minute phone call with Ralph this morning actually talking about this and a few other potential projects.
He offered a few different options with them. They are actually slightly different than the pictures on his site. He sold me: I will be working with him to have an attachment built for my rack.
EDIT: I meant to also say he doesn't use plastic either, but can on a custom build. Can order them to be compatible with 2" bar if you want as well.
I will probably be wrapping with tape as I think he said they were rounded and you can't really get flat UHMW on there.Last edited by aclockworkoi; 10-23-2014 at 12:32 PM.

Dean will not make one. He's good friends with Rick and feels like it's his bread and butter. He's not looking to step on his toes.

Well I made myself a full beam version for my rack. It's in the thread in my sig somehwere, and it has it's own thread http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showth...hp?t=159549961.
Apart from that I've never got a request for a smaller version, except for dragon360 who seems to want to buy everything possible. I must save him from himself.▪█──█▪ Equipment Crew #61 ▪█──█▪
