Made some cupcakes for my sister's birthday. The left is a vanilla cupcake with a vanilla swiss meringue buttercream. The right is a chocolate cupcake with a nutella swiss meringue buttercream. Huge fan of SMBC now. American buttercream pales in comparison.

“Go back?" he thought. "No good at all! Go sideways? Impossible! Go forward? Only thing to do! On we go!" So up he got, and trotted along with his little sword held in front of him and one hand feeling the wall, and his heart all of a patter and a pitter.”

Slow-roasted ahi tuna steak; used sesame oil, but didn't really affect taste. Smelled great, though.
Lentil and mushroom 'bolognese'. No, I'm not vegetarian or vegan (obviously, see pic above) but saw the (separate) ideas for mushroom and lentil bolognese-esque recipes, thought I'd try combining them. I actually enjoyed it quite a bit!
Oven-roasted chicken breast (not from the deli counter, actual boneless skinless chicken breast) sandwich with English muffin.
Pumpkin-peanut butter protein sludge! Pumpkin puree, FFGY, 'creamy peanut butter' True Nutrition Milk Protein Isolate, cocoa powder, fiber/bran cereal, roasted Kabocha squash, peanuts, pumpkin pie spice, pumpkin spice and cinnamon raisin Bagel Thins.
Of course, as per my usual sludge posts, sweet potato skins! They're practically like sweet potato skin 'jerky', but without the excessive chewiness. It tastes like caramelised sweet potatoes, but slightly chewier and the skin itself is nice and crispy.
Like the shirt?

<3 this topic.
Post workout: Protein Cacao Souflé topped with banana. Eggcake-cake stuffed with applesauce and peach jam, sprinkled all over with cinnamon. Bowl of quark with whey, fruits and cereal.
Half a protein chocolate cheesecake topped with nutella. Protein soufle and Polish cake topped with strawberry jam. A bowl of yoghurt+whey+cereal and a piece of Dutch "ontbijtkoek".
Rest-day meal. Polish duck, ground beef, eggs and a bunch of veggies. Topped with cheddar cheese and tahin. To the side: pear with cinnamon.
A small snack underway; a beef-taco with some nacho's, rice, guacamole and kidney beans.
A challenge: 1.2 kg of chicken total. That's a big breast on top, and the bed is basically made of chicken+curry rice and veggies. +Cinnamonized pineapple!
Training celebration feast with a buddy of mine: Protein pancakes, fruits and a tub of Ben&Jerry's!
