Competing one day actually crossed my mind. I don't think I'm anywhere close to that point yet but I can dream! It's been about 10 months since I started training. Curious as to where I'll be in the next year...really exciting to think about
Side note: so my bf is watching my deadlift and making fun of my facial expressions. I swear I try to look normal! Haha oh man...kind of embarrassing
Is it erickstevensapproved.jpg? **** yes!!!
I guess my bf likes taking candid pics of me. This one is pretty cool I think. Doing dem dere hip thrusts

I want to be way better than I am right now. I'm not comfortable with where I am and I want to be at least satisfied with my lifts first. Kinda hard on myself but I know I can train a little longer, get my form down better before I compete. Someone suggested I get into powerlifting and at first I didn't like the idea, now it's becoming more appealing to me. I really love this shiit and want to do something with it

Why? You planning on winning your first meet?
Besides, you think that I (or any other competitive lifter) am satisfied with my lifts? If I waited to be confident in my number before competing I still wouldn't have done a meet. If you want to do it, just do it! I promise you won't regret it.Last edited by ErickStevens; 11-01-2012 at 03:58 PM.

Ghosting! Long time no see...in my log anyway that's pretty cool. Just noticed that myself
I don't even care about winning honestly. I'm sure the experience itself will be more than enough. Someone linked me to a website where powerlifting meets are held in Texas so I'm still considering it. I guess I should be happier with where I'm at, considering I didn't actually start strength training until I made this log at the end of May. I want to be like a female version of Eric Stevens, haha! Seriously guys, seriously? Keep making fun of my amputated looking leg...see what happens!
Billy! Nice to meet you. Guess you know my name already
Here's a pic comparison from when I had first lost a lot of weight, was stuck being skinny fat, and the pic on the right was just taken the other day. There's about a one year difference between the 2 pics! Thought it was a pretty cool comparison despite the crappy lighting
