I'll give a full review after a month but I'll also post after my first squat session in them. That won't be until next week some time though!
Appreciate the kind word my man! Good to see ya stoping by!
Juggernaut method lifting program. Google it! There's lots of info out there and a few people in this section are running it currently. Great program! Thanks for checking in!
Thanks! Hopefully I like the shoes, if not it's back to good ol chucks!★★★ RSP Nutrition Lead Representative ★★★

If you don't like the shoes, and you are size 9 or 9.5, I know somewhere you could send them

looking forward to the review of those shoes. they look pretty sweet, want to replace my rogue do-winn's soon with either the nike, adidas, or the one's you just picked up.

The new kicks look like they have a bit of a raised heal. Or am I not seeing things right? Forgive my ignorance....but what makes a "lifting shoe"?

Yes, you are seeing correctly. A raised heel gives a mechanical advantage on the squat. It essentially allows you to get deeper without having your heels come off the ground because ankle flexion is usually a limiting factor. Here's an article explaining how this idea came about in olympic lifting and from there bodybuilders and powerlifters found out it could benefit us in the squat.

I got dem dere tiny feet son. (8)
I've always thought about getting the nike's but the deal on these was too good to pass up! Ill let you know how they are.
This! Thanks for answering Reid!
I probably will! I have no problem with depth with chucks though so if I don't feel comfortable in them I'm just going to say eff it.★★★ RSP Nutrition Lead Representative ★★★

I have been using a raised heal on my Rogue's but I hate walking around in them as they are clunky. I would like to get a pair of squat shoes which i can also wear around the gym. Curious how you like the new ones, looking forward to the review.

You too brah!
GPP
95 POUNDS ON BAR
10 x OHP
10 X SQUAT
10 X BB ROW
Walking Lunges for 50 yards
50 yard sprint
50 yard tire flips
Planned to do this 5 times and I was spent after 3 lol. My rest time was when the wife was doing her rounds (She did just the bar). Needless to say now that I'm not working weekends I will be doing some cardio and GPP work. I've said it a few times in this log but from here on out I will stick to my word on it. 1 to 2 cardio/gpp sessions a week.

Nice to be back!
I should have started a little higher on the skull crushers but the first week is always difficult figuring out the weights.
Running juggernaut as it's written for the 4 major exercises this time. Which means my last set is a AMAP set where week one is 3 reps short of failure, week 2 is 2 reps shorts, and week 3 is all out.

Juggernaut 2 - Week 1 - Squat - 10's Wave
Squat- 4 x 10 @ 205, 1 x 12 @205 (Video is 3rd set)
Rack Pulls-345 x 5, 5*
Hack Squat-2pps x 10@9, 1pps +35ps x 10@8.5
Seated Calf-150 x 10@9, 145 x 10@9
MISC
*Rack Pull should have been 10 reps but I forgot my other shoes and they just felt awful in my squat shoes so I didn't push it. Gotta remember to throw the chucks in the bag for next week.
OVERALL- One of the worst work outs I've had in a long time. Felt like crap through the entire work out. Still have some demons inside me from a weekend of partying and eating like a mad man. Most importantly though I made it through my squat sets and I got 12 on the last set which was probably 3-4 shy of failure (maybe more but today wasn't a day to push it). Things will be better on Wednesday.
I also added Hack squat to this cycle so that should be nice.
Also, as you probably noticed from this update and the last all mty accessory work for this wave will be in the ten rep range, next wave will be 11, etc etc. Hypertrophy baby★★★ RSP Nutrition Lead Representative ★★★
