Naomi Kutin, the "Supergirl" has done it again, regaining the all-time world record raw squat in the 97 lb weight class, with an amazing squat of 214.9 at RUM this past Sunday. At a bodyweight of 92.8 lbs!
Here is a video of her lift:

She also had a terrific deadlift of 209 which, while not a class record, showed great grit and determination, and brought the room to its feet watching her:

Then let me be more specific. This was not a record for 10 year olds. This is the record ACROSS ALL FEDERATIONS and ANY AGE, world-wide. The previous record was 209 lbs set by 44 year old Ana Geitner of Germany last September (beating Naomi's 205 lbs squat spent 2 months as the previous record). Also, this squat ties the cross-federation American record for the 105 lb class. Better?

allow me to retort
Since i personally cant think of any females i know who are close to 98 pounds, I'm going to make the wild assumption that almost all 98 pounders are juniors.
Look its very impressive. Super strong. Great. But IMO any beginning powerlifter should work on their technique, not chasing fairly pointless records at considerable risk. (Perhaps you thought her technique was fine i don't know). I would look at it and say: do you want to be the best 98 pounder, right now, or down the line do you want to be a truly great 148 pounder against senior girls? No contest surely.

In July, she squatted 205 (as a 9 year old) to break the long-standing raw record of Judy Gedney (203.9), who I believe was in her 50's when she set it. In September Ana Geitner of Germany, 44, broke Naomi's record with a 209.4 squat, the record that Naomi has now, in turn, broken. So, there has been some decidedly non-junior competition in the class.

TBH, I now think you are just completely thick.
The previous holders may well have been seniors. Of the tiny, tiny number of 98 pounders who are seniors, they will have course of been lifting for longer and therefore be stronger. What i am saying is that almost all of her current competition will be juniors. If there are indeed any other 10 year old female powerlifters.
Look you are a proud dad. (if you're not a troll). We get it. People are just trying to get it through your skull that those videos are horrible, injury inducing form sooner rather than later. Please tell us your coaching/lifting experience that qualifies you to teach your daughter or anyone else.
And FYI, the IPF single ply record in the 47k (103 pounds class) for a woman is 187.5 KILOS. So lets calm down and not turn that abortion of a lift into anything it isnt. As far as I know she is a very strong 10 year old, thats it.

I get that you are trying hard to prove a point, to the extent of becoming emotional about it.
You can't compare single ply to raw. Single ply suits add a lot to the squat. And knee wraps, given that the same length wraps are wrapping smaller, thinner legs, can add more than they add to men of normal size. You are talking about between 100 and 200 lbs added to the squat by virtue of the gear. So the IPF single ply record is interesting but irrelevant.
A good thing to look at is the all-time ranking list kept on powerlifting watch. The lowest weight class for women ranked is 105. If you look at the women's raw rankings for 105 and under, you will find 95 lifters ranked in the squat. Tied for #1 is Naomi. Clearly some of those ranked are youths. But not all. You can scan the list, but it includes such notables as April Schumaker, ranked below Naomi.
Do you need to keep trying to prove your point?

In the first video, it doesn't look like she breaks parallel at all for that squat... She keeps leaning forward as if it's going to give her more depth but it's actually making her stall on the depth! I think they just gave it to her cuz she's 10 years old...
Still quite amazing though. But that will be a bad habit to break someday.[Fat Loss|Nutrition|www.MRTIMOTHYLEE.com|Training|ContestPrep]

Such terrible form. I remember you getting torn a new one on WBB for her terrible form. I know its pointless to argue until the girl hurt herself... She's not even hitting depth cause she leans so far forward, watch the hips.
