Yeah i had it when i was younger and weaker, when i was benching in the low 200s. What helped was rest/ice/compression and plenty of fish oils, and light stretching of the triceps and biceps. But then at work i walked into a door and kinda fixed my problem altogether (srs)

Pretty irate about it. Gonna just try and rest it up as much as I can and ice it. Obviously it was from all the SOHPing I did. Was really weird, it kinda took a while to catch up with me, and then BAM! I'm ****ed.

Workout will be posted later tomorrow, nothing really exciting anyways.
That sucks, Dope. Looks like IL gave some good advice to help with it. I got so frustrated with tendinitis that I took way too long of a break.

Just hitting it with everything right now. Ice, nsaids, curcumin, fish oil, G/C, vitamines etc.

Never ever will I try and foam roll an injury again or **** with it. Not even massage. It just makes it worse, always

    1-8-12 yesterday

    BW: 210
    Time: 2 hours
    Key: PR

Just going to try and work around the injury as much as possible. Even if I still get some slight pain.

PLing Squats Got my belt thanks DOM it feels good

    (warmup)
    135-3
    135-3
    185-3
    225-3

    Belted
    255-1
    275-1
    315-1
    315-1
    315-1
    315-3
    315-4(Had 6)
    315-3

--Just messing around and getting a feel for the belt. Trying different setups and what not. I already think I got it down after the few singles w/ 315. 4th time squatting that week too. Now 2 days off and hit it hard again on the squats after.

    Really Light SOHP

    Bar-15
    95-5
    135-5
    135-5
    135-5
    Bar-30
    Bar-25
    Bar-20

--Not sure if good or bad idea. Didn't really hurt. And the high reps with the bar got the tris pumped/blood flowing and it felt almost like an orgasm srs.

    Half Hour of Tri Rehab

--Bad idea. I dunno about you guys, but foam rolling/massaging an injury seems to always make it worse, so never again. Just leave the sh*t alone.

    Calves

    5 sets

--They were already sore so I kept it to 5 sets, but all to failure and beyond.

    Seated Reverse DB Flies

    20's-15
    20's-15
    20's-15
    20's-15
    20's-15

    --All very strict.

I really hope I can press heavy tomorrow or the next day. Might just do deadlifts tomorrow w/ back work. Seems I'm able to do everything now except press. Like I said just going to work around the injury as much as possible. Gonna do a little more cardio too for recovery.

nice work on the squats, but brah foam rolling an injury is not a good idea. You foam roll to get rid of soreness and lactic acid buildup, not if you have irritated muscles.
There is no need to be upset

Edit: wtf, just by a minute. haha. Good workout! PL squats, eh? Why the change?
    Its fine.
PLing squats because I am racing Nick right now. He's going for 462, I'm going for 405. We agreed it seemed fair, but he hustled my ass lol. Read above to see evidence.
Don't worry, I'll do Oly squats still when I can.

Not scared. I just know that 420 was not your true max when we discussed the competition.

What are you doing for calves?
Thanks Woody. Just have a little wooden thing I built to do standing calve raises on. And I put the barbell on my back and or use my chains and do single leg at a time. Its working decently, I just need to keep abusing them because its a pain to get them to grow. I sometime jumprope after which is pretty intense.

Nope, we have an agreement and we shouldn't change it. We'll see what happens.

I'm not sure who the **** told you to foam roll or work a muscle that has tendonitis, but they are retarded. REST that ****er, as in don't do anything to it, ice every 3-4 hours and wrap it with an ace bandage the rest of the time. Don't press, don't warm it up, don't squat low bar, don't do pullups, just leave it alone.

These kids these days think they know everything...

JK I'm more calm now but srsly tendonitis is a must-rest injury. and I've had crippling forearm tendonitis before that only got that bad because I ignored it thinking I could just work through it and/or it would go away.
