    Wish I had trained for max weight for pullups from time to time. It's a challenging measure of pulling strength.

    Instead my focus has been hypertrophy in lat development. Using moderately weighted pullups in a decent time over tension rep range.

    But I may start an aggressive program in the near future and go for it.

    This isnt my entry, just wanted some feedback on technique. I am comfortable doing a rep with 25kg added, but I tried here with 30kg and had to use my legs a bit. Just wanted to know if this is allowed.

    this good to go? the thing is i didnt watch it till i got home, and noticed that the angle of the camera being below me made it look like i might not have gone high enough, i put a bungee across the bar cause thats what someone said to do couple posts above and touched my chin on top of it. i workout late (this was at 3am) so i didnt have anyone to film so i just had to prop it on a bench

    if this is good let me know so i can post whole video with weigh ins and what not , otherwise ill have to refilm before i leave the country in 2 days and i wasnt planning on going to a gym before i leave cause i gotta lot to do to get ready

    there are alot of things wrong. No dead hang, from the back, and it doesnt look like from that angle that your chin is high enough

    for future reference make sure your feet arent touching the ground when you start, but since you did 2 reps this is obviously good and below your actual max
