    What day for Deadlifts?

    Hey All

Starting a new program this week, and am wondering what day is best to do deadlifts? Either with legs or back?

I do dl's on back day. I try to keep around 48-72 hours between squats and dl's.

Back day. Squats and deadlifts on the same day is too taxing on the body. I prefer to keep them separate.

Probably the first time this question has ever been asked.

Up to you, I do squats and deads on the same day and it is ****ing tough. Deadlift is primarily a lower back lift IMO so I would say back day.

I've performed DL on both days before. However, when it was on leg day, I only did leg press as a major leg movement (in addition to isolation-style work).
Bodybuilding is 60% training and 50% diet. Yes that adds up to 110%, because that's what you should be giving it. Change the inside, and the physique will follow.

Back day and I would do them as your first exercise, you don't want to be doing deadlifts when your fatigued at the end of your workout.

Okay this may be a stupid question.. but I do my back and my legs on the same day.
Everyone's comment have been either or, but never both - what's your opinion on doing leg/back??

    My current days are Chest/Triceps, Biceps/Shoulders, Legs/Back.
The only reason why I started doing them back/legs in the same day was actually because of deadlifts. Since it hits both your legs and your back, why not put them in the same day. I've been doing DL and Squats on the same day for a while now, it's not too bad.

    Exercises (in order)
    3x Squats
    3x Deadlifts
    3x Calf Raises
    3x Pull-ups
    3x Lat Pulldown
    3x Seated Rows

    Opinions?

Well my opinion is if i did squats then deadlifts I wouldn't be performing nearly as good as my body is capable because both compound exercises are exhausting. Like trying to play in 2 back to back NBA games. Second one is gunna most likely suck

Compound exercises can be as good as sex but one thing they dont have in common is back to back compounds don't get better LOL
Loves deadlifting so much want to become coroner
