Had to get a video up for you guys ASAP! I wasn't really planning to squat today (Thursday), as I had just finished up a heavy squat/leg session on Monday and even had DOMS up until yesterday night, but I grueled through it anyway. This was done after some Sumos and cleans so I wasn't exactly feeling fresh on top of all that. Hope the angle is better this time. Let me know what you guys think! Thanks in advance!

The 315x1 looked good, but it looked like only 1 or 2 reps on the 345x3 were good. You should check this video out to work on your squat set up, because it's pretty haphazard right now.
Too lazy to embed, as I'm hitting the bed.
[edit] I figured I would embed since I'm fully rested now, and bored.Last edited by simp3204; 07-15-2011 at 03:44 PM.

SPF/10
On a serious note, all reps of 345 were good assuming all you want is parallel. Second rep might be questionable in a USAPL meet.Florida Gulf Coast University Powerlifting

Thanks for all the input guys! I really appreciate it. With my current stance (pretty wide for me. about 1-2" outside of shoulder width), the depth you see in the videos already feesl DEEP while i'm squatting. If I narrow my stance (about shoulder width), I start to lean forward too much and things start happening...refer to video below...dangerous stuff that I am still scared of to this day.
Any tips on how to achieve greater depth with a wider stance? My Journal

Much better!
Try and sit back more. I have a wide stance too and if I don't sit back my knees drift forward and I miss depth.
Not sure if you will have watched this series already but there is some good stuff in here:

This video is great. Watch it over and over until you learn how to set up properly.
I wouldn't say the stance is the problem. It's your technique that is the problem. You obviously aren't pushing your knees out continuously on the way down and on the way up. And the bar should not rotate or your hands move unless you aren't gripping the bar. You should be squeezing the bar as hard as possible the entire time and pulling it down to activate the lats and keeping your elbows down.1372 @ 205
