Yo billy, with that pumpkin loaf recipe where it says complete pancake mix, would any "just add water" pancake mix or plain flour work as a substitute? Eats are unreal mate, workouts are on point and weight is climbing, good stuff!

This one was a grinder. My hip flexors are taking a beating with this program. I definitely need to do some foam rolling and stretching later on. I'm up in the 170's! . I definitely feel like I can eek out another lb or so before increasing cals again. In other news, I had 2 clients last night with head colds and one on Monday. Last Thursday, I had 2 people recovering from being sick, among others during the week. My clients REALLY piss me off lol. I swear, each week I've had AT LEAST 2-3 people coming in sick. If I get sick again... I swear I will kick some ass!! Tomorrow will be a much needed off day, followed by bro pull day on Friday.*Professional comic book geek* *semi-pro cartoon collector* *full time nerd*

sheiko was killed my hips as well, i had to step up to a rumble roller, normal foam rollers weren't cutting it anymore. keep grinding, soon you won't remember what an hour long workout feels like

2 Days Out
Weight
201.2 - Holding steady. I had lots of sodium yesterday so I'm not worried!
Nutrition
200/173/52
Notes
I went into the gym today and did some light stuff, mobility drills, and went through my openers to see how they felt. Everything went good so I'll be starting with 230 bench, 385 squat, and 475 deadlift. Carbs are getting cutt off at 2PM today and I'll be having my last meal early (around 5PM) so I should wake up significantly lighter. Then Friday it's time to be hungry for a little bit, only downing a swig of water with some BCAAs every couple of hours until the weigh in. I'll be foam rolling/stretching a lot between now and then, just trying to keep things loose!"Nutrition for powerlifting: If you are serious about it, you will eat f*cking everything and get strong as $hit." - HamburgerTrain

NOOO. I'm up 18lbs from my depleted low. You have to factor in all the different variables : different scale, different time of day for the weigh ins, water, etc... At my lowest, I weighed 157.5 on my old scale. My new bathroom scale weighs 5lbs lighter than the one I used during prep. I'm 170.8 in the morning on my new scale, add 5lbs onto that to factor in how my new scale weighs and that would be 175.8 on the old scale I used during prep. Yes, I am getting teh fatz . So that's 18lbs in 24 weeks. Right on pace IMO

So I was at the store the other day and my gf had a coupon for $3 off any quorn product. They are a vegetarian company that makes things like veggie burgers and mock chicken patties, nuggets, etc. The products contain egg whites, so my gf can't consume them. So I snagged a box of chicken patties for 50 cents. I was definitely surprised. Best FAKE chicken patty I've ever had.
meatball pita w/provalone, chips ahoy chewy gooey
choco proats w/ reeses pieces, reeses pb whoppers, pb, chocolate chips, confetti cake pop tart
ffgy, on cookies n cream, cocoa puffs, golden grahams, banana, newmans pb choc oreo, vanilla milkshake pop tart
crusted chicken breast, potatoes, green beans - thanks to Sean for the recipe!
quorn "chicken patty", my cottage cheese, cocoa pb banana pancake w/reeses pieces

Did not mean to hear you, brah. My apologies
10-7-11 Bro day
morning weight : 170.2 - stickin in the 170's!
Did not bring my journal, so workout looked like this :
lat pull down
4x10-15
seated row
3x10-15
rack chins
2x10
cable curls
3x10
db shrugs
3x10-15
seated calf raises
4x12
misc.
Quick workout. In and out in 30 mins. I've noticed I am very tired on bro days lol. My body is not used to this kind of punishment yet. I'm really looking forward to tomorrow seeing as weight percentage increases on squats . My hip flexors were killing me and I had a no show at work last night so I spent the 30 mins foam rolling. Definitely helped to loosen up a tad. I just pulled another pumpkin/banana loaf out of the oven and going to nom that thing after sheiko tomorrow evening . Fark yes! My friend (a fellow trainer) and I got into it a little last night about Layne Norton... whenever I bring Layne up he says "That guy has amazing genetics." or "He's lucky because of how he's built." or my favorite "Are you sure he's natural? How would you feel if you found out he's a cheater?" I told him about Layne's DL pr and he didn't believe me. I made him youtube it lol. He then started talking about "If I had those genetics, I would be deadlifting that much too." UGH was I annoyed. I'm just sick of people constantly bashing on natties. These are the people who are too lazy and narrow minded to even put forth the effort or think outside of the box. They do the SAME workout that they have been using for 2-3 years and expect different results... I did however convince this trainer to give PHAT a try . Maybe his deadlift will magically go up. But then again, he doesn't have the "genetics"*Professional comic book geek* *semi-pro cartoon collector* *full time nerd*

I woke up with a knot in my right foot, which is weird. I didn't know what it was at first, but tried massaging it, and it proved to be just a tense muscle. Worst place to get a knot (other than little Billy ). I rocked out some shopping this morning and deposited my paycheck. Shaweet!! Had to stop by jewel again because they have a killer deal on blue bunny ice cream. Picked up some birthday party. Yum! I've been an ice cream fiend lately lol. For some reason, I was not feeling like lifting when I got in the gym today... but about 1/2 through a fire just lit inside me and I started rockin it out. I really like sheiko and I can tell my bench is going to sky rocket.
Not much else to do today other than work on this paper for philosophy and play some video games. Hooray!*Professional comic book geek* *semi-pro cartoon collector* *full time nerd*

Haters gonna hate!
I compare Layne to Tom Brady. When Brady came to the combine, he was undersized, slow in the 40, slow in reading defenses and making decisions... they said he would never be a qb in the NFL. Now he's one of the best. Now people jump on the bandwagon... Tom Brady outworked everyone else and decided his actions would shut up the critics.*Professional comic book geek* *semi-pro cartoon collector* *full time nerd*
