NICE WORK!!!!! Awesome that the weight is dropping!
Re: hair removal...I am not a fan of Nair at all. Tried it once, and I don't know if I didn't leave it on long enough or something, but didn't work too well. With shaving, I always go opposite hair growth except for the more, well, "sensitive" areas KWIM? Been doing it that way forever and never had bump problems. I use just regular shaving lotion OR conditioner (like for your hair). For my comp, I may be waxing though...Quick cut before a long, slow bulk.
Goal: Round two at figure in 2014.

Congrats on the new low dude.. I definitely noticed walking at max incline burns way more than running on flat.. I crank it up to 4.0 - 4.5 on the max incline and the calories just rack up quick.

I was just thinking that today.. Like "damn my boy eric called that shiet not gonna lie " thanks for the constant support big man. Wheels are lookin' MEAN now and your size is solid man. Side by side we're headin' towards shredville brother
Incline BURNS the glutes and hams too.. I do actually agree that it should burn more calories to a certain extent just because of how much more you expend with the glute/ham activation. Nice work out-burning the dude next to you man.. mustfeelgoodbrah
Thanks about the 169.. but i'll be back in the 170s (post refeed) and you hit a damn 166
Thanks Matt.. I expect you to be right here with me soon brotha.. the support has gotta be mutual just like the love (slight-homo)
LOL! Pruneville and Shredville were my choices at the fork in the road and I think I took the right path this time I'm gonna keep on keepin' on NO DAMN DOUBT andy!
Gracias Amanda I can't fathom the weight it's not even real to me yet haha..
See? mixed reviews on Nair.. makes me want to stick to something that I know I can't go wrong with (shaving)-- but I DO see a convenience factor to Nair. When I said DONT shave against the grain I think that rule applies to men more than anything lol. Thick hair/MORE hair/shaving for the first time... not so much the same circumstance as a peach-fuzz woman who's been shaving her whole life :P.. And damn.. ppl keep talking to me about waxing.. F that! Heard too many horror stories I'm just mainly concerned with how I'm gonna shave my back/hard to reach areas.. even the ones where hair isn't too apparent or visible.. Figure I might as well take a razor to all of it!
Thanks brah.
You crank it to 4.5 on the max incline ?! That's fast enough to where you gotta run it! mind=blown.. I might man up and TRY that for a couple minutes one of these days.. but no promises I'm just curious because I KNOW that's gotta burn through those calories!I'M ON A MISSION. Funny how this works.. in clothes I look like a starved ethiopian.. but when I wear cut-offs at the gym people never fail to tell me how much "bigger" I got with this face: .. then proceed to ask how much I weigh (expecting some ridiculously high number..).. then act like I'm lying to their face when I tell em' lol.
I had a convo with Steve (slovation) talkin' about how this comes up at the gym and he worded it perfectly:
Guy at the gym: "Bro how much do you weigh you got huge?!"
Prepper: "170"
Guy at the gym: "NO way bro. I weigh 185 I'm way bigger than you then.."
Prepper: "No, you're fatter than me"

It's funny because it's so true with the things you hear at the gym.. facepalm status man. First thing my co-worker asked me the other day: "lookin awesome bro what are you taking?" LOL How do you even respond to that.. r.i.d.i.c.u.l.o.u.s.

Welcome to the 160's...next stop...150's . Your prep seems to be moving really fast. When mine is over I'll have to live through your for a few weeks.
As far as inclines burning more calories, it's like the elliptical burning more calories at higher resistances. I still don't believe that walking on an incline burns more calories than running at 9.0 That's really fast and impressive. I feel like the machines are wrong but what do I know. I just love when you see guys walking on a full incline and holding onto the top. Then they will be like "yeah well I burn more calories walking this way than running." LOL no...holding on cancels out the incline...you're walking on a flat surface and burning half that amount U Mad?

Thx brahski. Heard of Arctic Zero? Normally the pints here at Whole Foods sell for $4.69 a piece. That would make the regular price $112 for 24.. but they had a sale for $3.49 a piece (any flavor). This sale expired on 5/31 so I placed a bulk order at the sale price and got 3 cases of 8 pints... WIN
First bold... I don't think I will be seeing those at all.. neither does the coach.. but we will see for sure Prep seems to be moving fast now no doubt! ~6 weeks to go dude I appreciate your support and the knowledge you've given me about the sport Adam..
Second bold.. I used to be one of those idiots till I clarified that issue in my log a while back ! I knew holding on was not the way to go.. glad I corrected that real early.. all my incline walking and running involves NO hands whatsoever.. burns calories like mad. I do agree with you that running @ 9.0 should yield a little more than an incline.. although this treadmill I am inclining to 25 degrees so that might be why lol.. I can only last a few minutes with that steepness. Elliptical makes me want to puke just thinking about it right now lol I do think we have just adjusted to our ways of doing cardio.. both work.. so to each their ownI'M ON A MISSION. I am probably just need reading it right but do your refeeds fall specifically on off days or training days? Are they scheduled every week or just when berto calls them?

As far as the shaving goes I used to get bad ingrown hairs. I started using that bump control stuff, (usually a pic of a brotha on the front) and it helped a lot but stung like a mofo. You can find it next to the hair mayonaise I believe (srs).
haha. Yea dude I cant remember how many times people told me I looked skinny/scrawny. I didnt see one of my sisters until the day of my first show and in the lobby her jaw dropped and she was like "you got sooooo skinny, eat something." After I got off stage it was "holy **** I didnt know you were that huge/ripped."
You wanna know how you respond to that?.........like this..........
"What am I taking?...........Im taking it to the EXTREME!"
then follow that up with a few most musculars (your preference)
Im super jelly. I did complain once because they put MY ordered case on the shelf so they tossed in a free pint. Did you notice on the side of the box a flavor that is not in stores or on the AZ website?556/325/622 - 1504 total raw @ 193

dope im gonna see about that shaving shiet if I need it.
your sisters reaction is exactly what I expect to get from lots. Im sure most competitors get that left and right lol. clothes vs. undressed is insane.
i was thinking of telling him: "take cell tech and youll get swole brah".. dude yesteday in the locker room (2 random kids):
kid 1: yea bro im taking nitro tech i buy like 6 pounds for 40 bucks.. its way better than muscle milk because you dont get big. im not trying to get big, you know?
kid 2: yea i should buy some of that then
kid 1: yea its really good if youre tryin to stay lean and tone up like i am. i cant be gettin huge for sports this season.
And for the arctic zero you talkin bout orange creme or pumpkin or somethin'? I noticed the flavors on the side ill check when I get a chance..
16 pints of Vanilla Maple (WIN)
and 8 pints of Cookies N Cream (WIN)
Those are by far my 2 favorite flavors w/ Vanilla Maple having the slight edge. They're at their best when you let them defrost and get creamy
I don't really like the Chocolate Mint or Chocolate PB. (More artificial and watery for sure) Haven't tried the others..I'M ON A MISSION. OPERATION: 2013 PRO CARD. JOIN ME FOR THE RIDE ;) http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=139931113

NOT feelin' it today. Trained 4 clients this morning/afternoon and proceeded to 'robotically' go through the motions. After the first exercise I was drained.. Forced myself to grind out some heavy Lat Pulldowns and the workout picked up a bit. Biceps were hit hard and the CG Pulldowns at the end were a nice finish to the workout. Short but sweet ending at least. Cardio (which I was already dreading for today) DESTROYED me. I thought it would be a good idea to go to a CRAZY 30 degree incline for 5 minutes in the beginning and 3 minutes in I was about to have a heart attack lol. NO JOKE at all. Being that I never let myself give up on a set goal.. I made myself finish the 5 minute incline/power walk and I felt sick while gasping for air and walking on a flat surface for a couple minutes to try to regain composure. Legs were on fire and my heart hurt. I made myself get into a groove @ 7.5mph after and it was tough-- but doable since I'm used to the running now. Real big mind-phuck today that pushed me to my limits. Another day down the drain.. Day by day gotta keep on truckin'I'M ON A MISSION. OPERATION: 2013 PRO CARD. I NEVER see any negativity in your posts, so I'm sure this will pass. Most imporant thing is even though you weren't into it, you did what you had to do. I honestly think prep is one big mind fuk...weighing everything, yet not feeling deprived; seeing some parts of your body drop weight instantly, while others you feel like it just ain't gona budge; getting through a workout and making it count when it's the last thing in the world you wana be doing.
You have been doing SO WELL Chris! Be proud of yourself!Quick cut before a long, slow bulk.

Chris - I know exactly where you're at in your prep. You're at that getting NASTY stage . Getting up in the AM, you get lightheaded and have to slowly get moving. Then you realize your legs feel like logs. It takes forever to get ready to go in the morning. You just slept (seeing as you actually could sleep lol), yet you wish you could just go to bed.
I remember not wanting to do any DB movements because it took SOOOO much effort just to take the db's from the rack and carry them to the bench lol.
Almost there buddy! Keep pushin!*Professional comic book geek* *semi-pro cartoon collector* *full time nerd*

negativity?! WHERE?! F*CK that it's NOTHIN'.. just a temporary bump in the road
You're right about those trouble areas.. we've all got em' and in this sport you never reach perfection.. always something to work on.. and for this I think the trouble areas should be looked at as a positive thing-- a reason to keep pushin' day by day..
"I don't want TOO get too big..." The infamous line we all hear and just shake our heads to. Lifting heavy does NOT suddenly "MAKE YOU HUGE".. Drinking protein shakes and having a vagina is NOT a combination for a roided out BUTCH. LOL COME ON PPL.
Prailine... would destroy
HOOOO LEE SHYT. lol I feel like you're straight up stalking me by how you worded that.. that's so precise it scares me.. That's exactly how I feel damn near 7 days a week now. Idk about getting nasty.. but I'm balls to the wall that's for sure.. Everything I've got is going into this and for this I know I can't lose. I'm in a win/win situation but in order to stay in this situation I need to keep this up till show day. One thing left on the table brings the possibility for a loss in my eyes. Nothing on the table is nothing lost. Honestly.. some days/tasks are harder than I ever expected them to be.. but they never defeat my self-drive to succeed and give it my all. My mindset will not let me down here.. My allie till the very damn end. Better believe it, brahI'M ON A MISSION. OPERATION: 2013 PRO CARD.
