Universal Nutrition Juicy Watermelon Atomic 7 Review (w/pics)

Big thanks to Universal Nutrition for giving me the opportunity to review this product. I've been using the juicy watermelon Atomic 7 for roughly 1 month inlcuding 18-20 workouts so I am basing my opinions off weeks of use, not from a couple samples.

Taste:
I absolutely love it. I've been a huge fan of Universal's watermelon flavoring since my first sip of watermelon Torrent Zero when it first came out. I've said many times that the watermelon Torrent Zero was one of the tastiest supplements, of any kind, I have ever tried and the same holds true for the watermelon Atomic 7. It's just a delicious flavoring combination. For the record, I also use and really enjoy the watermelon Xtend but I prefer Universal's watermelon flavor. It's hard to describe a watermelon taste accurately, but it tastes perfect.

(A couple floaters remain after 15 seconds stirring with a spoon. The bottom of this glass is acting like a magnifying glass and makes it looks worse than it actually is. The amount of particles seen here is no where as bad as it appears.)

Mixability:
Great! No problems. If you simply dump a scoop into a large glass with water and stir with a spoon it doesn't dissolve completely, but it does dissolve considerably better than Xtend but not as good as Intrabolic (for example purposes). None of this matters to me though. I make my intra drinks right before I leave for the gym, and toss the bottle in my gym bag. By the time I get to the gym everything is dissolved 100% - with every intra I have used. Xtend, Intrabolic, Purple Wraath, etc.

Profile:

Looks good to me. I like that the facts are clear, no guessing. I'm no broscientist, but this looks like one of the better intra products I've used.

Conclusion:
I really wish I had something to critically say about Atomic 7, I'm sure some of you reading are probably saying "How come you only say nice things about these products? Is it because you were comped this product?" The truth is - there's just simply nothing I dislike about Atomic 7 or any of the recent products I've reviewed. It mixes well, tastes delicious, and has a solid BCAA profile. It's hard to really criticize this....

I applaud Universal for using the smaller tubs, which make for an easy addition to my gym bag and also take up less space in my cupboard. The tub is about the same size as the RAGE tub for those wondering.

I hate this "synergy" term people frequently use on this forum, but call it what you will, this past month using RAGE/Atomic 7 has been nothing short of fantastic. Workouts have been ultra-intense while making big progress and setting new records in almost every area on a weekly basis.

I've had the grape and I have to agree, the stuff was amazing. Taste was very, very good and I agree with you 100% on the profile, it's one of the best on the market. Universal really did a quality job on this one. Hopefully the larger tubs are priced near that of Xtend, ICE, etc., so more people will give it a shot. Great review.

The way the bottom of the glass magnifies everything is very misleading...

Great review! Anyone else had the grape and this stuff and can compare? I got just over 1/3 tub left on my atomic 7 grape... tempted to go with one of the new flavors.

I had a tub of Watermelon A7 too; I thorougly enjoyed it. I also agree is tastes better than Watermelon Xtend. Universal did a great job flavoring such a great product.

IMHO, Corporate makes the best watermelon flavor. Juicy Watermelon EAA Stack is easily among my fav supps of all time. All time. That said, I actually prefer the Grape Atomic 7 over the Watermelon. It's close tho.

I mixed mine in a blue water bottle, so it was tough to tell. That said, it did mix better than Xtend, and about the same as ICE. Very, very good mixability.

Thanks man. I shoot with a Nikon D300 and Nikon lenses.

A couple of the close ups I used my compact camera in macro mode for, the Panasonic LX3.
