Hi,
After a aprox. 6 month break from exercise, me and my girl are thinking of going to the gym again. But because of our intense schedule, we are almost always at low energy levels at the end of the day. As such, I would like to know what you guys think of using supplements to address this, like creatine for example, to give a boost to our energy levels.
Thanks in advance

Creatine won't give you boost in the gym like caffeine will. Coffee and or caffeine pills are cheap and should do the trick. I would also make sure you guys are eating something pre workout (timing will vary, an hour or 2 depending on the person).

Creatine won't give you energy. You need a stim like caffeine. I recommend Kaged Muscle caffeine pills. 200mg a cap so you only need 1. Should get the job done. I usually add that to a stim free preworkout just for the added pump and endurance benefits but you could always bypass that or do that later on down the line

Just be cautious when using stims closer to bed time. "End of the day" can mean different things to different people, but 4-5 hours before bed I would really watch out on the caffeine and other stuff.

Besides the preworkout suggestions, make sure you're getting enough sleep. Sluggish and lack of energy is also caused by not getting enough sleep and a lacking diet. Adding carbs to your preworkout meal and ensuring you're eating enough during the day along with a solid 7-8 hours sleep can go a long way.
Progressive overload + progressive eating = gains. Simple as that!
