What prescription meds are common for IFBB Pro's

With as big as these guys are and as much stuff they put their body through...does anyone have an idea of what they must be on in terms of drugs for maintaining health? I imagine without meds BP and Cholesterol would be insane! Here are my guesses...

-Ace Inhibitor or ARB (For high BP)
-In some cases maybe Beta Blocker for high BP
-Crestor for high cholesterol
-Perhaps antidepressant for mood help when dieting? lol

beta blockers, well if you wanna work out and elevate your heart rate why would youtake a drug the stops that from happening, i dont see them really taking much but if they needed to control there BP i think that lasix would be the choice

I dont know what but I did read in an article in MD i think it was a few years ago pro's can often be on 20+ prescription medications at any time..

I heard they have been using Anabolic steroids for a few decades. They are prescription only in most counties.

hes talking about meds for: abnormal bp, liver function, healthy prostate, cholest. levels, acne meds, hair loss, healthy skin, those who get bad tren sides try to combat them with rx meds.

Um duh...lol. I was specifically referring to prescriptions they take to counter the side effects of AAS (hypertension, high cholesterol, etc).

But w/e I answered my own question in the first post....Answer = ACE-I, ARB, Statins (whoever said they don't work lol...hint: HMG-CoA reductase inhibit = lowers Chol), perhaps a diuretic with the ACE-I or ARB for the purpose of lowering BP...especially in the African American BB'ers since they're BP issues typically stem from osmotic balancing issues.

I wouldn't be shocked if they did a fair amount of SSRI's (prozac, zoloft, lexapro, etc) to boost mood...and I'm sure many smoke dat dere Pot tech lol

What med-school are you at? What were your mcat scores and what sort of questions did the interviewers ask you?

Not gonna disclose too much info...but I had a 3.98 gpa and MCATs were in the top 10-15%. For interviews they asked very very basic things...some health care reform issues. Mostly stuff like..tell me about yourself, why medicine, etc. Some asked how bodybuilding lol

That was just me kinda making a guess...I have no idea how steroids would mess would mood. Some people seem fine when on gear, others go Titus style on people lol. I've never tried anything so I have no clue
