I love his perspective on shh. He has a few years before he goes nutso.
Doing it tonight, I have my baseball ready. It always helps when I have a beer or two before.
198's! Iza all up in there!
He was just MILES ahead, and still is. Top to bottom he was just so freaky, very hard to explain, but unlike me were I fluctuate all the time, like a normal person. He always looked grainy, huge, and slabs and slabs of beef. I seriously would sometimes just sit back and admire him while he did his craft, along with the other gym rats.
Hard to explain, but even at the Olympia(the freak convention) he didn't look out of place.
I know I was!

Not that I wasn't little pissed off at him when he got cross striations 2 months into training legs, while dieting. LOL
Love those, specially after some good back work.
I hope to one day be good enough at this stuff, that I to go through a wacko phase.
Although I am the one that thought him to wear his shuffle in that manner.100% Natural Bodybuilding!

lol! I actually picked it up from some HUGE bodybuilder gal that used to go to our gym.
Yup just like that, and you just have to wear it on the right until you reach "the level."
Still trying to graduate myself. Once I place top 5 at a pro show!
No qwerty pads either! lol
405 x 2!
LOL x 2!
Great pic!
Now Todd I am sure he ate twice a day sometimes. lol
Its an easy leg press though. I think it was 12 though, its actually one of my favorite "collapse on you" leg press machines. It doesn't roll you that bad.100% Natural Bodybuilding!

Great work with the box squats! Heck, that's not a box, it's more like a stepstool! I use that same one I believe
Very true! I noticed how much I depend on the mirror when I was out of town and ended up in a squat rack without one...was like, what am I lookin' at now, all cinder blocks?? I'd like to do a PL meet someday, and my squat is going to be the thing to work on the most...good info, thanks!"In the depth of winter I finally learned that there was in me an invincible summer." ~Albert Camus

Truth!!
Man I think one of the worst habits ever in lifting is watching yourself in the damn mirror on compound lifts. Just gets you paying way to much attention to the visual and not enough with how your body is responding to the workload. PLUS I think it's a huge crutch. You get peeps that always squat/dead in front of a mirror then stick em in the middle of a empty room, and it's like they're hanging toes off a ledge.
Oh and I didn't think the deads looked that bad. A lot better than the conventional you were doing a bit ago was. That was ewwwww HEHE
But hey nice way to 'work into the weight'.
Gonna go conventional. Nah conventional and deficit. Nah conventional, deficit and heavy. yeah for the 1st time in a while...that sounds good! lol

I don't think I would ever attempt to pull "heavy" that way. I just don't feel stuck to the floor, nor like slingshot pulled back. It was more of a let's see what I can do, safetly.
I have my flashes of brilliance! LOL
So if you see a guy entering the shower with his hat, and shuffle still on....RUN!
I also think "feel" can give you more feedback than a mirror could and that 2D picture could. Its probably a month of growing pains, but you get over it, and it makes you a way better squatter.
It should be 1,2 step programmed in your CNS.
It was either that or snatch grip, but fur burger wanted to go off plates. Figured it would stop me from trying to go 500 and beyond, but since you put it that way. LOL Yeah the reasoning was a little off.100% Natural Bodybuilding!

You know me and stiffy. LOL call me a coat rack.
That was way deeper than depth, I don't have the lowest calves in the world, but that step was right at calve level. LOL
My butt was tight, so I wanted to go "easy." I think next time I might just do that, since off the floor is the hardest part for me with the hybrid stance.100% Natural Bodybuilding!
