You're good, your still getting the intended benefit. You'll see many threads of people creating baked goods with their protein. It's awesome when you can add protein into everday things such as muffins, pancakes, cakes, etc.

Speaking of...locally in Vaughan, this weekend is 15% off customer appreciation at Popeyes (not sure of other locations). Which means the prices will be actually reasonable.

The only thing that happens is that some of the protein will be broken down into BCAAs, but you still ingest those when you eat whatever it is you cooked, and so your body still utilizes it. Really nothing to worry about as many people cook with whey.

Including some photos of a steak & garlic shrimp which reminds me that the fridge is empty and I need to restock it.

While I don't really like Popeye's (I can't say anything bad 'bout them) I went there last month as they had what I wanted. It was quick and convenient. Ordering online would have been a smidge cheaper. It's great if you have a lot of things to include in the order cause then you get more for your shipping $.
Reflex in Edmonton was pretty awesome as far as brick & mortar places.

I've made sweet potato pancakes with just the sweet potato, egg whites and cinnamon before that turned out pretty well. I'm sure you could add in some peanut flour too to make them more like "real pancakes".

Ya that's pretty much how I made them, but with vanilla protein powder. I will continue to cook them that way, I mean the protein is less valuable but still. Tastes good and better than alternatives.

The whole "don't cook protein" is bullsh!t. You might lose some of the nutritional value, but if we got no protein from cooked sources we'd all look like women.

Most proteins and other good things will denature under heat. Don't worry about it.
