I've been there and it's awesome. You get to meet just about every pro who is competing and you walk away with an amazing amount of supplements. It costs $15 to get in but it's worth every penny. My dad and I made two trips over there, and I still have a lot more supplements to finish off before I go again this year!!!!

yes, you can as long as your country doesn't have strict laws against bringing in supplements or anything.
Anyways, the expo is awesome. Lots of bodybuilders there where you can buy an autographed picture of them, can take a picture with them, and can get lots of free samples from different booths and/or can get lower prices on certain items.
Also, i think since 2008 or something the Olympia 202 show has been at the expo. The women's prejudging is also there at the expo. There should be a big bulletin type thing as you walk in that has the schedule for the events that will take place there. Some booths also have little raffles or give away free shirts.
In 2007 there was an amateur grappling event as well. Some sort of strongman competition where like if you beat the guy there or if you're the person with the most number of reps or something then you win something. It was like a grip test I think. It was a heavy object but was thick so you'd have trouble holding onto it with just one hand.

went last year stayed at the orleans where it was held its not a casino thats on the strip but its close and its not some trashy place either its pretty cool. if i were to stay anywhere it would be there its really much more convenient theres shuttles that take you to and from the expo. you see a lot of giants walking around since the event is held there. the gym they have there isnt much but whateva gets the job done. the expo is alright its cool seeing all the pros there hanging out at their sponsors booths but i mean the SWAG isnt all that great unless its t shirts and shakers or something you can use, i mean what can you really get out of a sample pack of some random fat burner or other trash supp. taking one dose of it isnt going to convince me of anything to be honest but the 202 challenge was at the expo too which was cool.
the actual show was interesting to see. i had seats in the middle and to be honest if you dont have great floor seats just go for the ****ty seats up top its not worth the money to be kinda far kinda close. but yea overall good time have fun!

I think so. My dad told me we were going this year. I dunno if we're going for all the days or not though. I hope so. And i also would like to catch the women's prejudging this time. I also like the fitness routines so it'd be nice to watch those as well....and of course get free samples of all sorts of supplements.

I'm going this year with my Dad, he doesn't really care so much about the expo lol I told him to show me how to get there and say goodbye so I can just walk around and meet the pro's and people from BB.com lol
Question, so it costs $15 to get in there but can we buy tickets at the place for The Mr.Olympia events or do we have to buy the packages to see those?Workout Log

I would love to go one day! Since I already went to the USA this year in May, I won't probably be able to afford it so it will have to be next year. Unless of course I end up going to the Arnold Classic in March. But since I am not going this year, I will go to some show on the Gold Coast to support my friends competing in September!

Been going to the O with my dad for the last few yeras.
This year I will be there with my girl.
The expo is fun but can be overwhleming.
I have a friend that is an IFBB pro. She is sponsored by Prolab and she is usually working a booth. Nice to see her.
I would say that the expos is one of my favorite parts of the show.
Get there early, stay late, and get a grip of supplements and t-shirts..
We stay at the orleans, where all of the competitors stay.
This way we are close to the action and close to the arena.
Ate lunch next to bob chic last year. Met a bunch of cool people..
get get there on Thursday morninig and stay through Sunday.
VIP tickets are the only way to go but they will cost you...

That'll be quite a walk. Bags full of supplements get really heavy after a short while even if you are a bodybuilder. There are some shuttle buses between the Orleans and convention ctr. Maybe other hotels too- not sure. It's easiest staying at the Orleans if you can still change from the Monte Carlo. I've done the Mirage and Luxor and the Orleans is much easier.

Wish I could have went to the Olympia for my 15th birthday! That's a VERY cool present.
I like the Olympia expo better than the Arnold. It's less crowded at the Olympia. The Arnold expo is crazy busy!
Bring your camera, you'll have plenty of photo ops with lots of big names in the sport. (Most guys let you take a photo for free, but some guys will want to charge you.)
If you do decide to BUY any jugs of protein or anything large, purchase it right before you leave. Lugging anything around is a pain.
