totally agree, although i would say first 4 months

alsk known as the 'honeymoon' period when you are just both so happy you found eachother.... until you start getting used to and sick of eachother and then the fights start to happen... you get more comfortable with the person and eventually say things that get you into trouble

I'm sorry, but you have no idea what you are talking about... this coming from a guy whose longest relationship was less than a year.

My folks, for example, are still very happy and have been together for over 20 years. My mom was 21 when she married.

This aside, I have avoided relationships until now because I wanted to advance my career and not have to feel accountable to one person for everything I do. It had nothing to do with "wanting that new feeling" (how old are you anyway?) I stumbled across a girl who understands and respects this. It's a nice feeling. It's okay though, once you grow a little older, you will likely have a similar experience. Keep us posted so we can track your progress meanwhile.
