You make it sound like Obama is going to take every single dollar of your father's money. He isn't. You're being melodramatic
And I work for my money, though I am lucky enough to have a wealthy family. I would not have a problem with supporting my great country through taxation, no. I understand your point, but I think given the conditions of our country, it might be necessary to give a kick start to the lower sectors of our economy.
You are literally ignoring my argument completely in favor of a childish insult. It's a shame you're allowed to vote.

Spreading the wealth can absolutely suck a dik. There is no reason that people who work their ass off should have to pay EXTRA money to provide for people who don't work. Why the fuk should people be PUNISHED for working harder? I fuking hate when people complain about fat cat CEO's. Do you know why they are rich? Because they worked their ass off and made a successful business. Why punish someone for being a better business man? Do you realize who EMPLOYS the middle class? LARGE CORPORATIONS. These CEO's might be making money, but they are also providing jobs for you dumbass high school drop outs suckin on welfare checks.
This is America, not a socialist. If you don't wanna work for your money, get the fuk out.

someone who works 110% from upper/middle/lower class wont all end up in the same place. THe guy from the lower must work 300% harder and with some luck and right networking he might end up doing fairly well. But statisically he wont and just cuz he ends up in alower position doesnt mean he didnt work as hard as you. But hey, life aint fair and you're right this is not a socialist

Nowhere in the constitution was the federal Government to be given so much power. It is not the role of the Federal Government to provide food, housing, and healthcare to everybody. (Then the Government enables you to live without working and you have no incentive to work).
People much too often forget that it is not the Government's job to steal money from someone to hand it to others. The bottom 40% of people DO NOT pay any taxes. This means that money is seized from someone to hand it to somebody flat out, not in a tax cut but literally handed.
You work for what is yours, you donate what you want, you live how you want. That is your morals, your life, and your choice. Choice is the key word here. Somebody making 20,000$ a year has the same say in someone who makes 1,000,000 dollars a year as that person that makes 1 mil a year. This is not fair. Everyone will vote to take more money from people that make more then them. The federal government needs to stay out of our lives more. The founders of this country did not have a dream for the Government to do everything (or anything) for anybody.
And I am by no means rich, my father makes $50,000 a year. So do not preach to me anything, as I am in the bottom 40%. He does not want a single penny from anybody, just to keep as much as he can with what he makes.

the way i see it is there needs to be balance
taxes in and of themselves are supposed to be used to fund the greater good of society, the key is to find that balanced level that can help society as a whole go forward.
putting taxes towards the improvement of a school is great, and admirable, but does not always work if people resist that helping hand, just as giving a tax break to the high earners does not help if they dont put some of that money back into society and businesses.
it is a slippery slope to socialism, but the selfishness of staunch capitalism does in a way tear at the idea of a symbiotic society.
think of tribes back in the day, everyone contributing. thats an ideal, and something to push for, but not totally realistic.Excuse me, your seatbelt seems to be broken. What do you recommend I do?

nah dude i disagree
this is the land of opportunity. Dog Eat Dog. Anybody can get a world class education in America. There is no reason you can't climb the ladder. My dad came from lower-middle class and is now VP of a fortune 500. My best friends dad was smart as hell but didn't have that much money. Started as a bagger at Kroger and eventually moved up to a corporate buyer banking good dough. There is no reason that anybody in this country can't do well for themselves. You're either not smart enough or don't work hard enough, and I'm not cutting extra money out of my paycheck to provide for either of those.
If someone can give me a legitimate reason to punish smart/hard workers who have performed better than the average competition, I'd love to hear it. America is a mixed economy, there's no excuse to complain about your salary. If you don't like it, do something about it, but don't try to fuk over the ones who out-played you.A Lannister Always Pays His Reps

Just because you're working harder physically it doesnt mean you're working harder.
Its simple, the better your education is, the more likely you end up with a higher paying job.
Its not about laziness now, its more about laziness (or lack of intelligence) back when you were in high school and/or university.

So who's lazier then it's a simple question. The man working behind the desk, or the man working construction?
Who's working harder for their money?
The construction worker is working significantly harder, for less money.
I'm just saying it's pretty ignorant to say that so and so isn't rich because their lazy.
And to add to that, most people that have money are born into it. My parents can't afford to send me to college, so I would have to go on my own, accumulating debt all the while. Most families tend to work like this:
My dad worked this job, and so now he enabled me to work an even better job than he had. That comes in the form of money saved for college, or having connections, better education.
