I recently went into a GNC store looking at supplements and what I could be taking with my diet. I am over weight and have been running for 3 weeks and lifting. The GNC sales person told me to buy GNC 100% whey protein (due to my lack of protein in my diet) and also recommended the GNC ripped vita pack. I bought both and have been taking it for about a week now. I haven't had many troubles with anything but that I have noticed my pee is like a lemonade yellow color. Which I am unsure if is normal or not? My main goal is to drop weight and keep muscle strength. I know a lot of people are not too fond of GNC and their products. Is there any products you would recommend for me? Or am I good with what I got right now? I am open to any ideas.

Are you talking like what I consume for meals? I have been pretty good at what I eat for the past 3 to 4 weeks.
Meal 1: 6 large whole eggs, 1 cup (uncooked measurement) of quick oats, 1/2 banana
Meal 2: 8 oz (cooked weight) chicken thighs, 8 oz baked potato, 1 cup steamed broccoli
Meal 3: 8 oz (cooked weight) chicken thighs cut up, 1 1/2 cup salad.
And so on..

I could under stand buying the protein even if there are cheaper alternatives out there, but their ripped vita pack is a joke. all it is is a normal multi with some caffeine so you think you feel it working. the other ingredients are under dosed.

Stick to a beginner workout routine such as SS, All pro, Greyskull for 6 months-1 year (don't make up your own)
Then worry about supplements.

Alot of times pee takes on a very bright 'gatorade'-ish color when taking vitamins for the first time.. not uncommon at all. If you're really concerned about the color of your urine.. drink more water and it will dilute it
As for your weight loss efforts.. keep at it bud!Picking things up and putting them down since '09
