Just stopping in to say that you're a freaking beast and that I'm forever jelly of your squat.
I squatted a PR today, and upon stepping in here I am fed the usual modest pie.Training, philosophy, nutrition and biomedical discussion (2.0): http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=146797403

DEADLIFT:

COMMENTS:
Knee was bothering me today during squat warm-ups. Did not want to push it any further after four reps. Will try 420 again next week. Last of rep of bench press must have lasted five seconds, easily the slowest rep I have ever completed. Will micro load next week. Matched last weeks deadlift PR.

Felt strong tonight. First day of Curling Strength, an idea I got from another journal. Just going to do three sets of barbell curls at the end of each workout (besides intensity) and increase the weight each workout.

Your training is relentless, an inspiration. I wanna ask you about your volume days. Did you start with the 3x a week Texas Method with just the 1 combined squat and bench/press intensity day? If you did, when did you change to seperate bench and squat days and why? Sorry to come across like some sort of workout journo prick, but I'm genuinely interested :-D Your training looks ALOT more fun than my Starting Strength workouts, I guess I'm itching to get to where you are ya know.
Savage PRs lately btw.Powerlifter 160/100/195/455kg @ 91.55

Thanks. I split the volume workout in December 2010 and have stuck with it ever since. I would recommend starting with squat and bench press on the same day. I switched because I was so dead after volume squats and never had enough energy for volume bench press. I also like splitting it into two days so I can add in accessories.
