Just got a text message from musclephone that Branch is "rumored" to be dropping out of this year's O. Nothing conclusive as they said specifically it was just a rumor. I wonder why...

theres no point in competeing or spedning 20,000 to prepare for a show when he is going to place 10th at best or get the ****ty 10,000 $ most muscular award or freak award or that ****.

His last show was the Arnold Classic where he placed 4th. Kai Greene is out of the Olympia so he moves up one. Jay and Dennis Wolf didn't compete at the Arnold so he moves back two places, which puts him in a possible 5th at the Olympia at best.Originally Posted by freudslip

this seems like it might be a a down year in the olympia not that there arent really good pros competing but several guys who many people predicted to end up in the top ten will miss out

why is everyone criticizing how he lifts? Who cares if he uses bad form, hes one of the best bodybuilders in the world, and he got to that point training how he does. If hes out thats terrible, I know he wont win but i wanna see him do well. Freakiest pro out there now.

I hope this isn't the case, I think Branch at the Arnold this year is the best package hes ever brought. IMO he'd easily place top 8 at the O', where I think mass monsters are judged a little better than at the Arnold this year when you have Phil and Dex 1 and 2.

i hope the rumor is a lie. branch has made tremendous gains lately and i would hate to see him not compete in the O.
