I dont think eating plays much of a role, I remember Strydom saying in the offseason hed eat upwards of 8-9k calories a day and he didnt have much of a gut at all.
It is a scientific fact that the spleen and intestines have a great amount of igf receptors, I have posted proof of this numerous time that people continually ignore.

LOL! What has this to do with retirement? You could have easily posted a Ronnie pic from 2005, 1 year before 2006...
I consider your posts as legendary. They show how much of a role plays the feeling "hate".
Coleman in 2004, for many, he had his worst gut there:
Oh and... WTF?? Coleman no gut? And what is Jay doing there? OOOPPS!
You know. Coleman is one of the few who could distract others to look at his gut because nearly all other muscle groups were unbeatable.Ronnie KING Coleman, the greatest bodybuilder of all time.
Bodybuilding = Ronnie Coleman

MuscleTech is a supplement company. It's not a casting agency! When I say marketable I mean marketable into mainstream media. Supplemental companies don't count for mainstream.
I don't see any non-bodybuilding company or genre knocking at his door.
At least Ronnie appeared on Jay Leno. Cutler can't get no further than mainstream radio.Last edited by goddessamazon; 06-25-2008 at 02:57 AM.

Yes. I've seen that interview but that is related to bodybuilding. No one wants to deal with Jay outside of Bodybuilding because let's face it..............he has a personality equivalent to a brick.
When Ron was on Jay Leno he was playing around on the beach with "stuttering John". Jay could never pull that off.
Now how many "mainstream" talk shows has Jay been on? How about Movie roles?"I will persist until I succeed!" - Og Mandino

Ooops my bad, only Fox ..
Anyway..
Jay has been traveling around the world last year when he became Mr. O, that's why his preparation in 2007 O was somewhat ruined then. In fact, Jay went to Italy, Greece, Peru etc. Only to represent this sport of bodybuilding, but in regard to be mainstream, sorry to say but no way this sport will be. It's been discussed on this board many many times over and over again and I'll tell you that majority of the posts were saying that it will never be mainstream because of drugs involved etc..
Meanwhile, I am not good enough to trace all of Jay's interview and whatnot.
However, everyone has their own opinion towards Jay and majority of the posts I read in this section are hate and insecure, just saying. Actually, by doing that, all we get is nothing, but hate..Last edited by MesoPeaks; 06-25-2008 at 03:38 AM.

Off the top of my head the following BBers have made movie roles and/or made it to mainstream.
Arnold (of course)
Lou
Bob
Gunter
Kevin
Yes I agree. I drink Cutler Hateraide everyday! Hell, I'm sipping on a cup right now but truth is truth. Jay is ONLY marketable within BBing. But so is Gustavo so that's not saying much."I will persist until I succeed!" - Og Mandino

I think it's evident that the GUT isn't a permanant thing and can be controlled.
I recent picture of yates showed he now has a small and amazing mid section...
