Someone had mentioned creating a thread about cars and car porn, so I stepped up
Feel free to post pictures of your ride (or the ride you'd love to have) and discuss the ins and outs of automobiles. Try to keep it as civil as Misc can be so we can retain the lovely images

Cars are my life. I love bodybuilding, but my number 1 passion will always be automobiles. From modifying, racing, tuning, etc., I love it all.
I plan on opening my own shop one day with my best friend who i've known since kindergarten. The plan is to start off small and create a customer base and eventually turn the place into more of a performance shop down the line. Unfortunately my own car has been down for 2+ years. I decided to add a FMIC, blow-through MAF, and BPV vented to atmosphere. All of a sudden I went nuts and decided that wouldn't be enough (it never is though) so I pulled the engine, trans, and front suspension and decided to build from the ground up. I have about 75% of the parts needed for the build, but i'm just out of money for the time being and i'm trying to solely focus on finishing school.
Parts I have stockpiled.
Engine:
-03 Terminator shortblock
-Stage 3 ported PI heads (260/201)
-Livernois Stage 1 turbo cams
-IW dampner
-HPP racing sheet metal upper intake
-Edelbrock Vic Jr. EFI intake
-HPX PMAS
Return Fuel System (built to run E85):
-Aeromotive A1000 fuel pump
-Aeromotive 10 & 100 filters
-Aeromotive A1000 FPR
-Edelbrock fuel rails
-80lb injectors
-Custom sumped/baffled tank
Trans/Suspension:
-Tremec TKO 600
-Pro 5.0 shifter
-Centerforce 26 sp. DF clutch
-Spec aluminum flywheel
-03 Cobra IRS w/ BF brace
-UPR tubular K
-UPR tubular A-arms
-UPR C/Os
-Tokico 5-way adj. illumina struts
-Bilstein shocks
-Custom SFCs
-Vented/Slotted rotors w/ stock calipers (need new brakes as these suck)
Power Adder:
-PTK 2V Turbo kit (company is out of business now)
-Garrett 67mm turbo T4 flange, .70 A/R
-Tial 38mm wastegate (may need another one)
-Vortech Mondo BOV
-Greddy Profec Spec-B E-Boost controller
-All ceramic coated piping
I'm sure i'm missing a lot of other stuff.
With LTs, O/R H, Magnaflow CB, Vortech S-Trim @ 11lbs the car made 406rwhp/404rwtq w/ 10* timing on 93.
Goal for the car now is 620-650rwhp @18+lbs on E85. 700+rwhp on a race tune w/ a Torco mix and a lot more timing
Old pic of the car before I threw in an IRS and blower. (EDIT: Pic when the car had a blower lol)
After I added the FMIC...
Just some shots of some sick rides...
I have endless amounts of car pics that i'll post later.Last edited by MustangManGT; 01-12-2012 at 10:12 AM.

I stand corrected, most superchargers I've seen are top-mounted on the intake manifold. Never seen a belt driven off the front like that.

GNX are Sick! crazy how they hold their value. There's a good amount running around socal. A buddy in high school in my auto-shop class bought one off an old lady, it was her husband's before he passed. 16K original miles. AMAZING car.
Oh and anyone who's seen Fast and Furious 4 knows what a GN is brah...I had a wife once but she ran away with a gypsy. My heart was not ripped out but she did steal my cuckoo clock.

And what do you mean by only 547 ever produced?
@Black label, those exhausts are for the G37, is that what you were referring to?Xtreme Formulations Aficionado

The "regular" Grand National is not the same as the GNX. Just as I said, most people have never even heard of them. F&F had a GN, not a GNX.
I meant just what I said. Buick only produced the GNX in 1987, and only made 547 of them.

The way you worded it confused me, I took it as you saying that was the only one made. I was ready to pounce aggressively lol
