Can anyone recommend me some easy to read/understand basic physics book ? Been reading a lot of psychology that incorporates quantum physics, got the urge today to start reading up on physics. Already ordered physics for dummies.

Is there any significance to having dreams involving a demon? Lately my dreams are starting to become more and more vivid.. I used to rarely remember dreams, now basically every night I can remember my dream quite well. Anyways yeah.. 2 out of my last 3 dreams involved a demon.. which in the dream they didn't scare me, nor hurt me though they played a large role in the dream and hurt/killed others in said dream.. but when I woke up I was slightly scared/nervous haha.
Also, slightly off that topic, my pineal gland has been tingling more lately at even random times. Like the other day I was just driving and suddenly it starts intensely tingling. Dat progress.

Read up on some Carl Jung his psychology is largely dream based. Basically the image of a demon has a gigantic number of meanings within the archetypal unconscious, but most likely your view of the demons is negative like some sort of bad omen or temptation, this is why the symbol of a demon was placed in your dream by your unconscious ( I prefer sub-conscious but Jung calls it the unconscious) so it's not the symbol that is really important but rather the circumstances surrounding the symbol. Did you find any familiarity with what the demon was doing or the circumstance the demon was in ?
I'll give an example, a man has a dream about his wife as a large repulsive monster laying in his bed, this startles him and the dream maintains a constant left over residual effect in his conscious mind. He interprets the dream as some sort of ill feeling towards his wife, time passes and the dream begins again this time slightly different with his wife not the monster but his daughter. The man goes to a Jungian psychologist, the psychologist listens to the man describe his dream including his effort to work out what these ill feelings towards his wife. Upon hearing the 2nd time these dreams popped up the ghastly monster had changed into the form of his daughter the psychologist knew straight away that the wife and daughter where simply easily accessed conscious associations towards the female or feminine side within the mans conscious persona, so we have 2 archetypes the devil and feminine. I won't make up the rest but hopefully you get a close enough idea. In the end they worked out the man saw his feminine side as negative, his view of the feminine was grotesque and sick he held fear of breaking programmed taboo's and saw the hedonistic ways of the feminine as forbidden.
Dreams are very clear in a right brained sense but tend to forego a lot of left brain dabbling, the only way a psychologist can map a dream is through clues from the patient himself. People tend to purposely forget or pass by key ques within the dream because it doesn't make enough logical sense to them, almost like they use logic as an excuse to forget the notable right brained intuition or sensations that accompany the dream or situations in the dream. Writing your dreams down is unnecessary for more accuracy but after awhile you tend to remember the notable feelings with the notable symbols in the notable circumstance automatically without having to dive through useless noise within the dream. This is the process of your conscious mind becoming more aware of your unconscious mind. Or dreams becoming reality "nudge nudge"

Been practicing a bit everyday but have kind of gotten distracted with more psych books.
One thing I'am starting realize is that in the past my perception has been that Western thought (science, philosophy etc) lacked in explanation or observation of the unity in everything. This was before actually reading any of it. I now know the pioneers of Western logic or thought had much much more to them then what I had realized.

Is it just me that thinks the cube looks purple when he said this looks blue at the start? Good vid. The 2nd half is basically describing the difference of 2nd to 3rd density. I'am also looking forward to the advancement in communication, not just on the evolutionary scale but also more communication between people.

i remember watching unsolved mysteries (they made fun of the show on baseketball) a really old show i used to watch when like >9.
they had a story about people feeling instead of tasting & chit... like mixed up senses.
an example was one guy eating soup & they asked how it tasted... he said pointy...
i'm still not sure if srs about the particular show, but interesting nonetheless.++ Positive Crew ++

I've heard of this phenomenon, its called synesthesia.

LSD basically gives you synesthesia for 8 hours. Lets you perceive so much more information then you could before, simple things like color and taste set of long chains of thoughts, the thoughts actually produce strong feelings and sensations that are as real as the physical measurable properties that you see before you.
My guess is as time goes on humans will develop this skill more frequently and it will become as vital to living as our basic sight from the eyes.

Perhaps, synesthesia is to vague of a term and the extent of it is not properly mapped. It is interesting to look at the extreme side of this evolution in cognitive processing, that is the savants and autistic. So many cases of them developing extraordinary abilities however they lack communication and social interaction ability in exchange. I would think this being due to one side or part of the brain to be working overtime which kind of overrides and confuses the social interaction part. Seams characteristic of the problems man as a whole has, our individual discovery is great but we are hindered as a whole because of problems communicating and relating.
It's like when taking LSD it is very hard to communicate with anyone not on LSD. The amount of information taken in is increased and we don't have the ability "yet" to properly analyze and take all of it in well enough to communicate efficiently. Trying to communicate what you see while on lsd to someone who is not on lsd makes me appreciate and understand why savants are socially inept.
When I look at the evolution of man it's not the innate ability to take in this seemingly metaphysical information that has developed so much as our ability to communicate that information. All through recorded history we have had extreme right brained influence throughout, it's like we contain the ability, intuition and instinct in our more primal circuits. So to evolve we needed to modernize and increase the information pool, create more experience and angles of experience so we went from the more primal circuits to the purely rational but also extremely individually empowering. So here we are in this extremely rational society along with it the ability for the individual to stand out and achieve but we suffer from the lost knowledge of the primal circuits. So we are balancing it out and now suddenly we can discover for ourselves the lost mystic primal side to our minds, the connection to the life giving mother, the anima and the unconscious.Last edited by Iron_Prophet; 02-21-2013 at 05:54 PM.

Yes, I agree with all that. It's also interesting, because a lot of people who take psychedelics or have OBEs and communicate with different life forms say they communicate through "thought-form"; i.e. not language like we're used to, but almost a form of telepathy where a person communicating can send out almost an instantaneous package of thought where the receiver will gain all of its emotions, understanding, and detail in an instant. In other words, no understanding is lost from "thought-form"; it's almost like the receiver went through the experience that the communicator went through themselves so there's no loss of translation.

Yeh man people get so stuck up with words because they are our primary communication device to both ourselves in our own heads and others. Words are never enough though how can you fit in all observed experience of a certain act or action with one word, ancient cultures actually had more efficient language in this regard. The problem in current western language lies in duality. We have a problem with giving something usually 2 definitions that are the opposites of each other. Any time we actually use the word "is" we are implying complete certainty and truth. A lot of people understand this but forget to change there language appreciatively in fear that it may cause social problems.
I mean say someone notices Greg looks a bit grumpy, he then goes to his co-worker man Greg is really grumpy. Greg was a bit grumpy for awhile then a pleasant though put him back in a good mood. The 2 gossiping co-workers continue to treat him like he is grumpy they avoid him and give of subtle body language that they are wary of his gaze. This puts Greg in a bad mood again as he is annoyed at his grumpy co-workers. Obviously a pretty simple example but it could have been fixed with a simple change in language, perhaps saying Greg looks a bit grumpy this morning would change the tone of the whole situation.
Communicating through these other hopefully soon to be developed would get rid of the useless noise that make up most of our conversation, there would be no room for misunderstanding as you are getting it from a closer source rather then the information being mapped through one sense, i.e only sound.

Astral projection experts assemble!
When I started trying astral projection i had my first semi successful attempt while awake. I experienced an interesting state where I heard whispers and felt my self soaring backwards with visions of light and a strange vision of jesus with his crown of thorns (sort of reminded me of the statue of liberty), which I have to laugh at since i'm atheist. Some weeks later I had a similar physical sensation while in a dream though the dream setting was my bedroom and the vision was boring and just involved me flying backwards to the other side of my room, passing through my cupboard door , this dream was sort of only half lucid, though I do lucid dream naturally from time to time.
Another time I dreamt of myself in a circle of my friends and for a moment I went lucid and they encouraged me to fall backward through a curtain behind me and as I did it I felt the same sensation of soaring backwards though this time downwards as well, This time I got sort of anxious about the feeling which caused me to awaken. To be honest during the first attempt I felt somewhat anxious and excited but the sensation felt so powerful that I couldn't stop it even if I actively tried (which I didn't)
These experiences were months ago and recently I've been trying stuff like this again. I noticed that they both occurred whenever I was extremely relaxed and I 'fell backward into the experience", so to try this again and experiment more I tried relaxing my body entirely as this seemed to initiate the experiences. One recent experience happened at night after a couple of previous nights poor sleep pattern, I could tell then was a good time to try it because my physical body was exhausted but my mind was not ready for sleep. On this occasion I relaxed until my entire body felt numb and weight less, starting with my limbs progressing inward. My face was the last area of my body to relax, once i focused on relaxing my face I entered a state unlike my previous experiences. The experience began with what felt like my face violently contorting around my mouth and eyes, I just relaxed into the sensation, then for the first time I reached the vibration stage where my entire body shook violently. Following this I think regular sleep paralysis occurred as I tried to move my arm and could barely do so, I then had visions of my bedroom with nothing out of the ordinary however this was in my mind as I had a pillow over my face (I enter these sensations easier with a pillow over my face, or at least half of my experiences have involved a pillow over my face). This experience was at night.
This morning I gave it another go and did what I did the previous time. I relaxed my entire body starting with my limbs, finishing with my face, again feeling the contortions when I reached my face. This time I don't think I started vibrating, instead I felt a weightlessness and similar less violent contortions through the rest of my body, this time my vision was of strange coloured lights, though it was light outside and I had no pillow above my face so this could have been my mind contorting the daylight in from the windows.
I now realise this is a lot longer than I intended, help would be appreciated but I at least felt I needed to write down my experiences.
What I would like help with is whether anyone can offer tips on how to further my experiences, either to lead to lucid dreaming or astral projection or any cool experience. Is my technique wrong in anyway? Has anyone experienced anything similar to what I described?Do not confuse realism with mundanity - life is malleable

Posted this in the "third eye brahs" thread already but its driving me crazy pls aware on what happened to me:
"So I was having a relatively unexciting dream alternating between me hitting on random girls at like parties and stuff and me listening to my ex gf really upset with me and finally cutting all ties with her. Then I started chatting with a girl about how she knew a guy who was able to kill several of his negative "attachments" at once by putting them in like a one-armed headlock/stranglehold type submission (lol this sounds really weird I know).
Then I became conscious of my body in real life, like not lucid within the dream anymore but still asleep in my bed. I started doing the strangle with my right arm like I was trying to crush the life out of any spirits/entities/cosmic beings that were attached to my spirit. I felt a CRAZY INTENSE feeling in my head unlike anything I have ever felt before but I went with it and then some female voice whispered into my right ear "staaaaahp" and I got scared and opened my eyes. Visually everything was SHAKING like crazy and I was in sleep paralysis. I was freaking out but I managed to relax a bit and close my eyes. Then I kept saying "go away" like my sister taught me to do if I ever encounter an unwelcome presence. I felt like my mouth was numbed up like at the dentist but I could hear myself in my head say the words. I kept doing it an eventually I felt my body saying it and I could move again.
I cleared the room, grabbed my black tourmaline protection amulet, and texted my sister about what happened because she very much into this stuff. She said sounds like I released something and that it might take multiple steps and I started the process. She also said to look up "Etheric cords." Here's a link if unaware
http://www.gateways-to-inner-peace.c...ric-cords.html
Right after that I tried to find these cords. I laid down but I couldn't picture any cords from my body. So then as I was alternating between falling asleep into unrelated dreams and meditation, I started thinking about who I'm most likely to have chords with and then what part of my body I felt feelings that I with those people were associated with. I focused on my one ex (diff than the most recent one earlier in the story) who I loved and really f'd me up after we broke up and the feeling in my body during the periods of brief meditation and then scanned my body for where I felt her.
I felt my emotions for her STRONG in the sacral region and it got like super warm and weird in that part of my body. I tried ripping the cord out and I got another head rush like before but not as intense or scary. Tried to do another body scan and I felt another less strong, but still significant feeling around my heart but I lost concentration. When I got up just sat there reflecting on what happened, I felt GREAT lol."
Btw this image make me snap it into an intense trance very quickly. I dont see any colors but everything around me turns like a blurry, faded white and my head starts rushing.

Your dream seamed to focus on females. I would say your sister is the positive aspect of your anima (inner female) and the drama with your ex gf and the negative attachments/demons are the negative aspects. Open up to your sister she will be of immense help to you, basically only you can understand what the symbols in the dream mean to you, they made you feel a certain way etc.
The empowerment of a males anima usually happens around the time there third eye begins to open. Likewise the Animus with a female.
