i don't know much about music...but i've heard a little of everything. i think they might have touched the peak of music in the late 60s/early 70s. the music hits and fogerty's voice has that energy...imagine being a know nothing 18-20 yr old at the time being sent to the jungle and listening.

Most things are bs hype. Reality is actually very brutal and painful. People cant cope with that so they do stupid **** that doesnt matter and its usually empty in the end as well. My theory on hedonic treadmill is its actually a coping mechanism to escape life's harshness.
