nope, no lifting weights during basic. just pushups and running. you can start lifting again in tech school
the food isn't bad, it's actually good when you have time to taste it. 95% of the time you have to swallow everything as fast as you can and chug down your drinks all in about 3 minutes.
pm me if you have any other AF questions

Well you get a couple of "free" days at the end of training so if you wanted to you can do it the end possibly.

thats ****ty they dont even learn attention to detail now...
what do you learn in bmt for the air force?? every airmen i know said they didnt do **** but fold **** and do drill every once in a while. whats the point of doing it at all? they could send airmen straight to mos school and they would be just fine, its not like they learn any real combat oriented stuff at bmt. ive never seen anybody have a life changing experience from air force bmtF.T.B.S.D.O.

well theres pulling and then theres jerking. 95% of airmen couldnt tell you what jerking the trigger meant or what it would do to your round. this is my point, EVERY SERVICE needs combat training like the Marines have, that way everyone is trained to fight and can bear the load if need be. im not trying to be harsh but i wouldnt want an airmen next to me in combat (excluding para-rescue/combat weather).
