Wow. Strong idiots on this thread. Bush = Hitler, ROFL. I dont care for Bush's false conservatism and his rediculous politics but he is not the "Devil" like how socialist Chavez claims.

The people who claim Bush is Hitler are the same people who say "Bush hates black people".

Nobody likes Hitler, he was Charismatic and he so happened to be born at the perfect time.. Timing is everything, Germany was going through harsh times and they were looking for such a arogant leader and someone to place the blames of their troubles (Jews).

Churchill was a great war time leader but a crappy peace time leader. He was critical in the defeat of Germany. England should have listened to this guy long before. It was he who realised the dangers of Hitler long before anyoe else.

amazing public speaker, anyone who can motivate an entire country to follow them through hell and high water is obviously amazing at what they do. if he wouldnt have been so anti-semetic. he was this way because he felt that all of the jews who faught in ww1 for germany were the reason they lost, one contributing factor of many. the aryan race theory was developed from a book written in the late 1800s by some psychic woman about blonde hair blue eyes being a superior race, and this idea was just spread through the nazi party through propaganda.

Granted this is partially based on the movie The Downfall which is claimed to be pretty accurate. Hitler had a glorious unwavering image of what Germany could and should be, and Jewish problem was a problem he viewed that was conflicting with this vision. His closest advisors and friends in the Nazi party respected and trusted their Fuhrer above all else. Granted not all of the German people, I would imagine agreed or worshipped him so, but I'm guessing he was ery popular. In anycase, a lot of suicides occured in Berlin on the night it fell, because the vision of Germany had failed, they would rather die and kill thier children and escape a world without this Germany.

I would go as far as to say, this image of Germany was right inmany respects, benefitting everyone in it. But it's pointless to even consider counterhistorical events since determinism is absolute.

its not really about liking him - i respect him for how he lifted post world war I germany back to its feet ready for world war II. He was a very influential man - get some background on him through wikipedia and then start your search on what aspect you'd like to cover. Check out some hostircal journals/ or the Library of Scholarly journals for a deeper persepctive on certain viewpoints.

I admired Hitler in the sense that he did almost everything he set out to do. He suffered through incredibly harsh times as an almost abandoned child, rose up through the underground politics through his intellect, brilliant persuasion, and self-teachings. Hitler used to also attend many many underground political protests and debates (most of which he won), and many were attended by Lenin at the end of his life and beginnings of Hitler's.

Im totally against the war in Iraq but it hardly makes him Hitler. You dont even know what how sick Hitler was. For one, he slept with his own cousin. Also, he was INSANE.

Bush may use ultra religiuos nonsense to his advantage but that hardly makes him Hitler moron.
