Thanks, Scott. Yeah, my back sure felt great after that volume. It was pumping up nicely (from I could feel).

    Thank you.

Tonight's workout wasn't too bad. Great in some ways and could have been better in others.

    Bodyweight: ~173.5lbs

    Straight-Leg Deadlifts
    135 x 10
    135 x 10
    135 x 10
    185 x 5
    185 x 4
Hams got worked nicely. However, my grip started to slip on me on the 185lb sets...

    Back squats
    95 x 10
    115 x 10
    135 x 5
    135 x 6
    115 x 2
My right knee didn't feel right with these for some reason tonight... I had to quit squatting after my 2nd rep on that last set...

    Barbell Good Mornings
    45 x 10
    85 x 10
    85 x 10
    95 x 8
    95 x 10
Oddly enough, my right knee didn't effect these at all. These felt great. I like how they slam my hams.

    Barbell calf raises
    135 x 10
    185 x 10
    185 x 9
    205 x 10
    205 x 7
These slam my calves hard every time. I didn't bother going upto 225 tonight.

    Leg Extensions
    135 x 10
    150 x 10
    165 x 8
Did some of these to keep my legs loosened up.

    Hanging Leg raises
    BW x 10
    BW + 15 x 10
    BW + 25 x 5

    Dip
    BW + 25 x 1
I thought to try a dip with that plate. I managed to get one rep in. Nice to see that.

    Time to eat!

    Thank you.

Yeah, I think I'll do some static holds on days I don't do deadlifts. I normally dont have problems with my knee, but i dont know what happened. I know it went from 55-60 degrees yesterday to 30s today. *shrug*

But that dip was nice to see (that's 200lbs I was doing )

I would be careful about overtraining your grip. It's not taxing on the entire body, but your grip strength is easy to wear out. Some low volume stuff every so often is okay, but with the amount of gripping your doing during the week, I'd be careful not to overdo it.

Yeah, I was laughing at the wording. I'll try a hook grip (as much as I hate them).

    BOO-YAH!

    Time: 17:40 - 19:09
    Bodyweight: ~176lbs

    Rack pulls (Knee-level)
    135 x 5
    185 x 5
    225 x 1
    235 x 1
    245 x 1
    255 x 1
    265 x 1
    275 x 1
    285 x 1
    295 x 1
    305 x 1
    315 x 1

    325 x 0 - 1st attempt (FAILED)
    325 x 0 - 2nd attempt (FAILED)
    320 x 1
Damn! This was incredible. Left me lost for words. I tried the 325 but failed twice, but I got the 320 up fine.

My grip never gave out. I did hook grip for most of these singles. This grip didn't hurt me, and wasn't uncomfortable that much.

    T-Bar Rows - w/o Chest support*
    45 x 10
    70 x 5
    85 x 5
    85 x 5

    * Alternate Hammer-grip Pullups
    BW x 8
    BW x 8
    BW x 5
    BW x 2
Yep, I was quite tired from my rack pull singles.

Preacher Curls - EZ Curling bar
    50 x 5
    60 x 5
    70 x 5
    70 x 5

I was very tired. Since my back got slammed hard from my rack pulls (and was pumped up big), I didn't bother with my DB incline rows. I also forewent my situps.

    But I'm in sheer heaven!
