Sure the techniques there, but it's how you use it right?

I'm posing this question because, well I've honestly been thinking about it and I'd like to get some other views.

It's my belief that superior technique can truimph over a good fighter on occassion, but if you put the best natural fighter in the world against the guy with the best fighting technique but with a "wimpy" mentality, who wins?
    mentality > fitness > technique > ability

I don't know, in my opinion fitness and technique go hand in hand. Today i grappled with a kid who's been out of it for over 6 months but has been training for the past 4 years, and has been smoking and eating fast food for the past half a year, and I only started training almost 2 months ago, and I'm in excellent shape. He submitted me 3 times over the course of 5 minutes.

he has developed that mentality of heart

    1. quit
    2. push through

trust me, it's so much easier to quit. but people with experience often only have that 2nd option because they know what it takes to win. the other night i did 12 minutes straight of flat out punching/uppercuts/hooks, normal rounds, and grappling with no break. halfway thru i was like oh god **** this **** is hard... but then i thought of my opponent who could be training harder and got a second wind and ended up finishing strong. if you can unlock your potential you can go so much further.
