Sorry for the newb question but im new to lifting and want to know how much the bar that you put the weights on weighs. There are different ones to like the one for bench presses and one for thats smaller and has big curves for like bicep curls. Also how much would my bench be if I can lift one 45 pounder on each side which makes 2, would my bench be 90 pounds or do you include the bar? thank you.

a normal olympic bar is 45lbs, yes you add it to the total lifted, so a 45 on each side = 135lb bench

I've always wondere what are ez-bar? 25-35lbs I've heard. How much do those little oly bars weight like 35lbs?
IDK if anyone else ever seen these bars, but in high school are weight room had a lot of them. They were a 7' oly bar, but a little thicker, and deeper knurling. They were black instead of chrome like all the fancy POS bars. Everyone said they weighed 55lbs. Some said 50lbs. I don't know what they weighed, but I do know a little more they had to they were like and 1/8'' thicker. I liked a thick bar I could grip it better, and it wouldn't bend. I don't know who made these bars but everyone said they were meant for squating, deads, and powercleans.
My gyms got the thicker black bars too, I wonder if they are 50-55lbs. I don't think though cuz they're Invako (nice quality)

if you want to check just step on the scale at the gym, then grab the bar and step on again. subtract the difference, theres your answer.

The EZ bar feels the same as a 7.5kg dumbell to me, so yeah, 15-17lb.

I did the math and that one came to exactly 17 pounds. I don't know if there is an "official" weight for EZ-Curl bars. In my workout calculations, however, I call it 15 pounds because it makes the math easier.
Hope this helps.
EDIT: In short, this means you're all wrong....
Kidding!

non-olympic ez bars can be MUCH lighter. since we're on metric, i know that oly ezbars come to approx 10kg (not sure on imperial) and the non-olu ones are around 6-7kg
i just start ignoring the bar and record which plates i use, much easierTime to Bulk !

Olympic bars are generally 45-50 lbs. It depends on the thickness. The 1" Olympic bars are 45lbs, and the 1 1/8" olympic bars are 50lbs. If I remember correctly.
My EZ Curl bar is 20lbs, weighed it when I bought it.
