Hi All,
I am just wondering which Carbohydrate type/product can I use to help me Fuel my body before a workout, I'll be doing zero cardio just weights.
I've come across Maltodextrin / Dextrose / Waxy Maze Starch which one would be more ideally to help with Fueling your muscles for a heavy workout ? I've been reading articles that Complex Carbs are the way to go which one would be recommended ?
I'm personally thinking of using Waxy Maize for Pre-workout to help me with any fatigue issues during the workout, and post-workout to consume Maltodextrin to receive the insulin spike.
Would that be the best way to about it ?
Thanks in advance

Woah, woah, woaahhh Bud.. What exactly do your work outs look like? Why are you wanting a carb product and not food? How much are you planning to take?
The only time I would recommend a carb product pre work out is if you're going to be training +90 minutes at an intense rate, or doing endurance cardio.Supplement a good diet: don't diet on supplements.

A banana or two works well
Sickening.
Fear leads to hate, hate leads to anger, anger leads to suffering... In one final act of self defense, the great mother earth must purge herself and if that means the death of 3 billion people... So be it. If we choose war over peace, If we choose fear over logic, If we choose to be led into war and not lead ourselves to the promise land, then we deserve hell on earth.

Get your diet and training down before you worry about dishing out $. Anything fast digesting that will spike the insulin will work fine. That doesn't mean candy, it means something starchy like a banana.

I have oatmeal before my morning workout.
If I'm working out mid-day, then my pre-workout carbs are rice, sometimes some fruit as well.
Post workout is usually a banana.
I recommend real food OP.I am a sculptor. Not of wood, stone, or clay, but of flesh.

Carb supplement......... I mean, I like to have carbs before my training sessions but straight malto, dextrose, etc, doesn't really have much benefit over, say, a banana. If you're looking for a supplement that's more than just carbs preworkout, check out BULLNOX. Carbs, stims, and other goodies. If anything, I like carbs during my training sessions. Pumppppssss!
