yes, im saying it wouldnt work, because not only would it not have that much impact, because someone isnt just going to stand there while someone is running at them, but also because the person they are running at will most likely punch them in the face.
MMA fights are the closest thing youll find to real life fighting situations out there.

I guess the boxer's punch wouldn't hurt either, neither would the Muay thai fighters knee to the ribs. I mean, we aren't fixed objects that stay in place like what they hit either.

I gurantee they can produce some of these same types of breaks in a real fight because of the conditioning of their bones.
There was a documentory on the Learning Channel, one of the many martial arts ones about 5 months ago. It showed an okinawan karate master who was 80 something, conditioning his fingers by hitting them against a rock over and over.
His son then held up boards, while his father broke the boards in half by hitting them with 2 fingers... It works.
its the same thing with someone someone having a block of ice smashed on their stomach with a sledgehammer, or being rolled over by a vehicle. It takes a certain type of conditioning. Once they have that conditioning they can utilize that new ability in a real fight. Such as if they are hit in the abdomen they can absorb most any strike.Last edited by LionofJud@h; 09-30-2006 at 07:40 PM.
"The machine isn't that strong, much less so than a muscular man. Even women should be able to beat it," said Atlus spokeswoman Ayano Sakiyama, calling the recall of the arm spirit arcade machine "a precaution."
