This is gonna be my log for the testing of Controlled Labs Red Acid Gen 2. First I would like to thank all of the guys at CL for chosing me to be a tester for their product. This journal will officially start once I recieve my bottle of Red Acid Gen 2, I just felt I should get a head start on all the initial info for all who wish to follow for the upcoming month.
Diet:
The diet I will be following for the duration of this log will be a combination of carb cycling and timed carb diet. This should prove to be a good plan for me, but I guess all we can do is wait and see. Sample of diet:
Mon- Hi 2800 total calories 350p/250c/44f
Tue- Lo 2500 total calories 350p/100c/80f
Wed-No 2000 total calories 350p/trace carbs/66f
Thurs-Lo 2500 total calories 350p/100c/80f
Fri-Hi 2800 total calories 350p/250c/44f
Sat-Lo 2500 total calories 350p/100c/80f
Sun-No 2000 total calories 350p/trace carbs/66f
Weight Training:
Training routine will be the following:
Mon- Chest
Tue- Back
Wed- Off
Thurs- Arms
Fri- Legs
Sat- Shoulders
Sun- Off
The amount of exercises will be a bit on the high range...with atleast 12 sets done for each bodypart going up to as high as 28 sets on some. A detailed log will be posted with exercise done, weights lifted, reps completed and how I felt pre, during and post workout.
Cardio:
Cardio will be done each morning minus Sunday in the morning for a minimum of 30 minutes. Cardio will be done upon rising and on an empty stomach.
Progress:
Progress will be measured, weighed, once a week at the same time every Monday. I will also take pictures at the end of each week and post them at the end of the journal, for comparison.
Again I would like to thank everyone who had anything to do with the choosing of me to be a tester of this product.
Stay tuned...
Oh and good luck to all the fellow testers.

just some thoughts..
Just some quick thoughts...Red Acid Gen 2 is a very good supplement that for me has:
-given me focus after taking
-no noticable crash afterwards
-increased my sweating while in the gym
-clean (no jitters) energy feeling
-just the first week, but i have already moved 1 notch on my belt, so i know i have lost atleast 1/2 inch on waist
-no bad aftertaste when burping (big plus, nothing worst than tasting your supps on a burp)
-very good on the suppressing of the appetite
...in all, Red Acid Gen 2, so far has been a very good product and I am happy to have been chosen as a tester...still got 3 weeks to go.

Day 5
Day 5
i had extreme focus in the gym today as well as during work after taking servings, still though no obvious crash...:rave: ...i cant wait to weigh myself on monday and see if the scale agrees with my mirror...i am seeing a difference...worked out shoulders and arms today and i had a good one..finished off with some cardio..3.5 miles on the treadmill, it tends to get boring on the tread though so i am gonna measure out a trail and start on that monday, gonna mark both 3 and 6 mile trails.this should be a good start...right v40? oh and tomorrow i am gonna hit legs (light) i will log and if i end up doing my nightly jump rope, it will be just like last night 5 two minute rounds..thats all i can do for now, i will improve on that also..Red Acid Gen 2 is da bomb so far

Day 8
Day 8 of my RA G2 tester log..and up to this point i am very pleased with the product.
this morning all i did was run 4 miles at good pace..worked up a good sweat, this is not all i am gonna do for today though...tonight after the wife gets home from teaching i am gonna hit the gym and do...i am not even sure, thats the thing with me i will follow a workout routine to the T for about a week then i feel like switching up, now i know change is good (keep the body guessing) but i really need to stick to a certain plan for atleast 4-6 weeks...oh well something i need to really work on...anyway i might do chest and back, since that is what i did last week....if anyone is even reading this and has a suggestion on how i can keep things interesting drop a line and let me know..till then i will post this evening whatever i do...enough of that, diet has been very good i dont feel the need to cheat on meals or anything after taking the servings..i guess its in my mind that i am contributing my body as a tester and i want to give the best feedback as possible..have not weighed myself yet but i will tell you my jeans are fitting a bit loose around the waist :action: ..peace.

RA G2 ratings
my ratings for RA G2:
energy: 9/10-gets a 9 from me because it is a clean energy feeling, no jitters.
focus: 10/10-gets a 10 from me, enough said.
appetite suppression: 9/10-doesnt make me hungry, leaving no need to cheat on diet
mood: 10/10-for some odd reason my first week on RA G2 i have been in a pretty good mood all the time..not that i am an angry person but i am more easy going than usual
thats really all i can rate, not sure if this is true with everyone else..but no one is alike. peace

The Iron will always kick you the real deal. The Iron is the great reference point, the all-knowing perspective giver. Always there like a beacon in the pitch black. I only touched 90k once this year and twice last year..Now I am 76k in my 2nd last week of cut before my competition. And waist is under 30"....normal times...32"-33"
I have not had a good hit from creatine all last year..Clout did nothing for me...
So I cant wait to try Controlled Labs creatine and other products..I gain really well on creatine when it works...>4 Kilo's on average..
So am Hoping CM Products will set me up to smash the 90k plus barrier.....Not bad for someone that started at 61 kilo's.The Iron never lies to you. not bad at all..i just looked over your log you did for the scorch / vaporize by MAN...those are some pretty good products also..i found the same thing while i took the scorch, the burp about 15 minutes after taking, i tasted it but it was not bad at all..Red Acid Gen 2 does not have that after taste..MAN does put out solid products, between the 2 companies those are the only products i see myself buying for a while...good luck on your natural contest, you are looking pretty good there, tattoos dont look like a distraction to me, if you tan and get oiled they will be even less visible i think.
i really need to kick up my cardio throughout this month.

Day 9
Day 9
aight i woke up this morning at 3am. dont ask why, i just woke up..no alarm no nothing..just woke up. so i get up and say hey if i am up and dont have to be at work till 5am, i might as well do something....so i decided to jump some rope..did the rope for 5 rounds of 2 minutes..got a good sweat in such a short period of time..so i still had some time to burn so i decided my hair was gettin' long(its been 3 days ..so i go to cut it with my t-edgers..and they crap out on me...didnt want to fade it with the mach 3 so i had to go with the regular clippers..enough of that.
Shoulders / Arms
had a very good, focused, intense workout this afternoon.. i was full of energy i was in and done with my workout in 45 minutes..i got after it good. then said to myself i need to run, so decided to run nonstop in one direction for 35 minutes..did this because i would eventually have to turn right back around and get to my truck, and thats what i did..then after re-hydrating i pulled myself into my truck and tracked the trail i had just ran...came out to 3.25 miles so together that is 6.5 miles.
end time was 75 minutes..so i was happy about that..

Day 11
Day 11
good day today...the boy had a great time last night as well..lots of gifts(again, had a premature party on saturday..the little guy is spoiled rotten) anyway, i remember saying earlier that i felt i needed some kind of workout to switch with my current, well i think i found one...pretty simple it goes like this:
monday and thursday:
bench press
bentover rows
military press
shrugs
close grip bench
db curls
tuesday and friday:
deadlifts
calf raise
leg press
calf raise
db lunges
that is it...found it on bb.com, now it looks very plain so i know i am going to add exercises to this routine depends on the body....i am going to try and listen more rather than force it to do something...i will be following this up with 30 minutes on the treadmill. so here are today lifts:
bench press
135 x 15
225 x 10
255 x 10
275 x 8
bent over row
135 x 10
155 x 10
185 x 10
military press
135 x 10
150 x 10
155 x 10
shrugs
85 x 10
90 x 10
100 x 10
close grip bench
185 x 10
205 x 10
225 x 10
db curls
35 x 10
40 x 10
45 x 6 + 35 x 4<---forearms were burning so i had to drop weight to finish reps.
after that was done (which by the way worked up a good sweat for me) i downed a post-workout drink and did the treadmill for the 30 minutes...i think while the wife watched greys anatomy tonight i am gonna do some jump rope or go to the track and run...oh and the way this workout works is all the exercises are paired up...so it is like supersetting the whole workout, i think that is why i worked up thesweat i did with so little exercises...felt pretty good....update on the scale at the gym...now i know i am supposed to weigh in on sunday but i did it today anyway and i am at 208 down from 215 so i am happy about that.

Day 12
Day 12
had a good day today, mood is great...not antisocial or just mad for no reason, i go about my day with a very easy going attitude. diet was on point today(up to this point) as well. i say up to this point cause the day is not over, and not saying that because i am gonna mess up....you get the idea.
the workout:
deadlift
135 x 10 (w/u)
135 x 10 (w/u)
205 x 8
250 x 8
275 x 8
squats
225 x 10
275 x 10
315 x 8
leg press
4 plates aside x 10
5 plates aside x 10
6 plates aside x 8
seated calf raise
180 x 15
200 x 10
225 x 10
aight now this killed my legs, this is the time you might say, "well you didnt even do anything." but i have not done deadlifts in a minute, so that is why and the squats were all the way down...to top this workout off, i did 40 minutes on the treadmill on an incline of 12.5 at 4.0 mph, so it was good...not looking forward to tomorrow..still though i felt focused in the gym and worked up a good sweat.
