Day 4
YES! I have been using this for 4 days already. Let me update so far.
Taste
Sour and almost revolting, but not quite. I am really tolerant to bad flavours, so I really don't mind so much, but some people would. I tried mixing it with grapefruit juice yesterday and that certainly helped. I took some down to my local supplement shop to give the owner a little taste, with a view to stocking it, but ah, lets say he didn't enjoy the flavour. Might be something for Thermolife to look at. I REALLY don't mind, flavour isnt a big deal to me, but I imagine it may be for some people. If you can get used to PW/Clout or Clomid from a bottle, anything is doable
Mixability
Excellent, doesn't mix like On Whey or anything, but stirs up fine to drink.
Effects
First two days on it were great, really good pumps at the gym, which seemed to last as I was hours out of gym also. However, I have been cutting my carbs in the last few days and I think this has effected the 'pump' factor.
Noting this however, I've lost a kilo in the last 4 days and strength is about the same or a bit better. Taking this before the gym seems to allow more reps or weight in a session, even though I am on a calorie restricted diet. I hope this continues.
I'm a BIG fan of taurine, and think it serves this product well. Creatine doesn't do a whole lot for me, but this mix along with A-AKG may be doing the trick. I don't think this product is marketed / prescribed to be anything like any of the Creatine / NO combos out there (CL WB/GB stack comes to mind), but so far, it 'feels', for lack of a better word, similar.
I would also compare it a bit with NOS Ether for effects. Things like MAN Clout and NO-Xplode did nothing for me.

Thermolife Reps - Is there any problems mixing my first dose of Xplode Reload with BCAA in the morning?Last edited by solarize; 08-21-2006 at 03:58 AM.

Day 6
I tried carbing up yesterday, and today was very low carb day. This seems to directly effect the 'pump' factor, among other things.
Pumps
Are great when I have some carbs in me. Still more 'pronounced' when on low-carb, but no where near as intense.
Strength
I'm on a cut, so if I can hold onto my current strength/rep ranges the whole time, I'll be real damn happy. So far so good here
Focus
The Taurine must be working its wonders. No cramps. Good 'clean' focus in the gym.

Day 9
I've slightly upped my calories over the past few days, and will be doing slightly more cardio, hoping to keep fat loss stable and not lose any more muslce.
Pumps
With the upped calories (mostly carbs), I find the pump on this product more pronounced. Yesterday was rest day (did cardio though) and pumps during cardio were great.
Strength
Stable (cutting). Will have a big workout session this afternoon though - so will update once I get the stats on that
EDIT: I double dosed pre-workout today for ****s and giggles. Pumps were insane! And I managed a PB on deadlifts - this is mostly in part to my training reigme at present, as my back injury is improving, so to are my deads. Strength was stable or a little bit up today - it was a bit of a cheat day on my diet to. 4g of Taurine definately helps your workouts.
Focus
The taurine is still working, but maybe I have become used to it a bit more - as the 'focus' I noticed earlier, doesnt seem to be as constant/there now.. Probably just accustomed to it.Last edited by solarize; 08-25-2006 at 03:18 AM.

Day 12
Well I'm back from a big weekend!
Saturday was shoulder / back work - a bit sluggish, but I was on a drastic decrease in calories that day.
Saturday night I was out dancing till 5am!
Sunday was just some light cardio
Pumps
The pump during cardio from this product is normally more pronounced than normal... except when dancing on end for hours. The first hour of dancing I had some CRAZY leg pumps, it was great This subsided to a more moderate level after an hour.
Cramps
Normally after hours of dancing, I really tend to cramp up, especially as I am cooling down. I drink plenty of water / electro's etc, its just something that happens. Interestingly cramping was SIGNIFICANTLY less whilst using this product pre/after dancing. Certainly a real winner for me

Day 16
I've converted back to volume training for the next 8 weeks, as part of the "CUT DIET". I thought the pumps were intense before, but damn, you start volume training and Xplode Reload get painful In a good way.
Pumps
Carbed up or carbed down, pumps are crazy when volume training
Cramps
Still no cramping, which is great.
Strength/Endurance
Hard to state as I have just changed my training program. But I can positively say recovery is better. Still sore as per normal, but 'fatigue' is decreased.
I'm nearly out of Xplode Reload, shame. I'll post a final update in a day or so.

Day 18 - Final Day/Review
Well it had to come to an end eventually Full review below
Pumps
From day 1 there were good pumps, but these really seemed to increase by about day 12. I'd like to see how long this would last with more product as they were beginning to become the lovely 'all day pump'.
Cramps
Stopped some cramping in my legs, excellent. I had cramping with GB/WB so its interesting I didn't with this. Reload had a very effective benefit of decreasing my cramping with long distance cardio.
Strength/Endurance
Strength was helped and endurance. Its hard to judge by how much, given that I am cutting at present, however I will say strength was probably more noticeable than endurance gains, except when doing cardio. Cardio endurance was increased more so than volume training endurance, interesting.
Flavour
Probably my most stern criticism on this product. I didn't mind the flavour, I'm not a flavour/sugar Nazi. But I think many customers would have an issue with it. Two of my friends tried it and found it vile. Shame, as the ingredients are solid
Servering Size
Only other issue. I dosed pretty high on this stuff, and was training 5-6 times a week. So I went through the bottle very quickly. For someone like me, it would be good to see slightly more servings per bottle. But I guess Thermolife would hear that from everyone! More product for free, thats the "Holy Grail"
Thanks again to ThermoLife for selection as a tester. I hope this log proved useful in showing what Xplode Reload can do.
