Layne does cyclical bulking where you bulk for 4-6 weeks then cut for 2 weeks. Supposedly its good for promoting lean gains. I'm interested in trying it, but Im curious is anybody else had done it, and what their experience with it was.
My main concern is, I dont want to " take 2 steps forward and on step back"...know what i mean?

I read somewhere like you know stupid advertisements on e-book or something, the seceret was not to BULK for weeks and weeks like some people.
It went on to say you should bulk for 4 week periods and then I would assume cut for 2 or something.
Similar to what you are saying....
Sounds like a logical idea but you'd definitely have to be consistent when bulking and make sure you are fully gaining, not half heartedly!
