Shamrock may suck now but he use to be a force and he was doing mma when most of us were still in diapers. Shamrock = UFC 1

Shamrock was a 2 dimensional fighter when 1 dimensional fighters were the norm. He hasn't really beaten a whos who of MMA, but he did help make the sport as popular as it is today.

I hope to see more of Frank Shamrock though, who beat Tito Ortiz..
    Frank Shamrock 21 - 7 - 1 (Win - Loss - Draw)
    Ken Shamrock 26 - 11 - 2 (Win - Loss - Draw)

Frank's on win #10 in a row, and retired his UFC Belt Undefeated.
He also beat Bas before Ken but ultimetly lost Pancrase 1
would've been very "odd" to see the shamrocks vs each other in the pancrase #1 finals....
I like Frank just as much as I like Ken and I hope to see him in the future.

As for Ken, time to retire from Pro MMA buddy. And for anyone bashing him they dont know ****. He trains Marines in H2H combat and visited injured US troops with Severn and Couture. I dont see any other MMA stars doing that.
knocked down seven times, get up eight.

Frank Shamrock is a much, much better fighter than Ken. His record and performances show it.

Ken is overrated, he has a horrible attitude, and thinks he deserves respect that he doesn't.

i started watching UFC at UFC 54, after a friend told me WWE sucked and UFC was great. now i love both i remember then downloading UFC 48 and seeing ken shamrock on the card.. i thought WOW shamrock in real fighting the guy must be a machine, as i was a huge shamrock fan from the WWF attitude days. shame hes 42 now and quite past his prime.

frank shamrock is very skilled also, id like to see frank shamrock vs rich franklin at middleweight

Yeah I just watched some of his matches very nice. He was a wrecking machine back then, I guess everyone slows down when they get older, I agree with everyone else retire.

Lost a lot of respect for him when he took that dive against Franklin. The 'hit" that finished that fight was no where near him!!

It was a silp, and then undefended punches to Ken when he was on his knees. There was no phantom punch.........

Sims - my bad I watched the fight again online. The end was a slip. The part I"m thinking about is near the beginning of the fight. Shamrock looks like he's going towards Franklin and then all of a sudden his knees give out and he falls down before Franklin hits him.

I agree the end of the fight was a slip but this part I described above does not look like a slip and he sure didn't get hit.

Here's a vid of that fight. Happens around the 4:05 mark.

yeah I watched it a few times.. to me it looks like Shamrock might be just starting a shoot and see Franklin throwing the cross so he just kinda goes limp and falls over backwards into guard instead of eating the full punch lol.

I wish Shamrock would have stayed in the WWF. He has done nothing but harm the sport since he came back. Hopefully he retires, it would be so fitting for his career to end like this.
I'll have to agree with this guy. Shamrock may have been pretty good back in his prime (he was, I've seen some fights) but he still is an ******* when it comes down to it and it has always been said that he blows off fans. That right there is enough for me to not respect him.

Instead of, oh I don't know, PUTTING HIS HANDS UP? That fight was fixed as far as I'm concerned. He's in mid-air, and you can see the soles of his feet. What kind of shoot is that?
