    Smile Need Recovery Advice

Hi everybody, I hit the gym (a real gym this time) for the first time yesterday, it seemed pretty "Hardcore", people walking around looking like incredible hulk lol, anyways, they giving me advice on training and said you got to train hard here and we will bulk you up nice, so I did allot of diff exercises, worked my shoulders, biceps, triceps and back, and todayyyyyyy its all ceased up a bit(arms), I feel pretty good but my arm is slightly lift by itself, I cant straighten it without some form of tension/pain, I’ve had it happen be 4 and it goes away but it was a while ago, they want me 2 go gym again today but I don’t think I can, how long should I leave my muscles be4 going back to the gym, cuz I can defiantly feel the workout on my arms and back, do I need 2 wait till pain goes? And a bit more, or go back and feel the burn? Please let me know, Thanks

oh and i'll post pics soon

if i were you i wouldnt go back to the gym to work out until your muscles heal up and stop hurting, other wise, it might be counter productive

Working out on sore muscles is a bad idea. Because you havn't worked them that intense before you are gonna feel it pretty bad, but don't worry eventually your muscles will get use to it and they won't be as sore, but still a tad sore

What i do on leg day is fill up the bath with cold water and lay my legs in it for a few mins, then have a warm shower after. It works great, my legs are usually fine in the morning with no soreness at all. Try stretching after the workout too.

You can also take a supplement called Glutamine, apperently it aids recovery really well. But if you want to keep it simple just have a nice cold bath hehe
