    Anyone do reverse grip close grip bench press??

    i'd say if you're going really heavy (225+) theres a higher risk of droppin it on your throat. i'd just do them the normal way man, much safer, just as effective....

    It's a damn good exercise for triceps. My wrists were never that fond of it, but if you can do it, then do it.

    if you use a good spotter, or better yet, a power cage, then safety is not
    an issue, and Reverse grip actually puts more stress on the triceps thru the
    whole movement then does standard close grip. a bit harder on the wrists
    in some cases, but well worth the attempts...

    do you know if it stresses the heads on the triceps any differently? if it hit the lateral head more instead of the long head id be willing to try it. in my power rack.

    I never found the movement effective enough to justify the harm it did to my wrists. I stopped doing them years ago because they put me out with a wrist injury for nearly 2 months. There are plenty of good tricep movements out there besides this one.
