If you want to gain muscle instead of fat then I suggest not eating junk food. What do you think is going to build muscle better? A chicken breast and a bowl of oatmeal, or a piece of pizza an a bag of chips?

Exactly. Junk food won't kill you, or kill your gains, but it obviously shouldn't be a huge part of your diet. As long as you are getting enough protien and other nutrients, a little junk food here and there won't hurt ya.I used to be 135 pounds, give me a break.

the only reason ur not gaining is because of all the junk your eating. they are all empty calories. up your protein 1.5-2 g's a day and up your cals to about 4-7000. if you dont gain weight like that and with proper lifting then there will probably be something wrong with you but i think its all about your diet.
