So I think its California (LA) and New Jersey....yes i'm from California. I have travel to all over the U.S. and i realize that California has the biggest mofo's. California is also a vain state, thats really into their looks, therefore in my opinion thats the #1
New Jersey isnt far behind, dont know why but those dudes out there are monsters, I know three Natural Pros from there and those guys said that Jersey is the place to be for bodybuilding and hardcore training.

#2 Jersey
#3 Pennsylvania...there's some strong Mofos there and a bunch of damn good bodybuilders
#4 Texas...damn near anywhere
#5 Florida...Miami, Tampa, and Ft.Lauderdale have a bunch of good bodybuilders

also, LA is kind of a transplant place, much like las vegas. i.e. cutler i'd count in Mass, even though he lives in vegas

Just by judging on how hard the NPC classes are it would be betweem cali and texas. I know for fact texas classes are hard as hell to compete in.

i would guess California for bodybuilders...
but for powerlifters, I'd have to say Louisiana.$157 billion creates 650,000 jobs = $240,000 cost to create or save 1 job

For being the HQ of bb.com I really have yet to see any bodybuilders. All I see are skinny kids trying to tone for their gf's.
That and I have yet to meet any powerlifters/strongmen from Boise. I know there are a few and more near Pocatello/Coeur d'Alene but still ... I guess it doesnt help that our pop is <=1.5milTotal ... what else matters?

From my personal experience, it seems that the "sunny" states, ie california, arizona, texas, etc have more big guys, whereas places like the midwest where it snows a lot tend to have less. The weather probably makes it hard for the average person to get to the gym. Ive never been to the east coast so I dont know about the Jersey/NY/Philly area.
