Since I hav elearned enough to know that I should be doing low reps with more weight, that is what I intend to do. However I currently do not have at my disposal, very much in the way of equiptment.
Am I just wasting ym time if I am wokring with weights but probably not using enough weight?

Exercise is never a waste of time. Do the best you can until you can either join a gym or afford to buy equipment.
In the meantime, you could try different ways of doing the exercises- supersets, compound sets, circuits, super slow reps, etc**********************
I will succeed because I persevere, not because I am perfect.

There's a great sticky thread in the exercise forum about bodyweight exercises.
Exercise is NEVER a waste. When I don't have access to free weights I make my own. Milk jugs filled with water/sand. Buckets with strong handles. Anything heavy that I can carry/move/sling/throw becomes a new piece of exercise equipment. I just recieved a bed topper as a birthday gift, and before I unrolled it I used it for a few good keg tossesEverything I say or post is all In My Own Opinion.
