Could the fiber be spread out more?

Look into how much fiber you actually need, too much fiber causes stomach discomfort.

You might be lacking digestive enzymes. (What happened to me)

Go to www.purtian.com and lookup acidophilusm, it might help.

Like sunngodd said try to spread out the fibrous foods.

Water is good but i don't think would help with this situation unfortunately.

any of the gas-x, beano, etc. should help

but also, if you are just starting to use fiber, you need to increase the amount you have per day gradually. that should help eliminate some of the pain.

Definitely get some enzymes and plenty of water. Men need not go over 50g of fiber a day. I get in 43 grams on a good day but no gassy side affects. Go for less than 10 grams of fiber a meal if you are having problems.
