    continue to bulk or cut?

I have been on the 5x5 program to bulk. I started the 5x5 program about 6 weeks ago and have made very good gains. My bench and squat went up almost 30 lbs. However I started the program with a relatively high bf% around 23%. The problem is I haven't had a very clean diet at all so my bf% shot up around 28% and now am looking to cut down my bf% significantly before resuming the program. My only concern is since I'm making good progress on the program right now, will I still be able to achieve the gains I'm making right now when I resume the program? What do you all think? Should I continue to bulk or cut down some?
