He's been bbing for years before becoming a big name back in about 2007. We've seen countless pros who have had a long background in bbing start to degenerate as they approach and enter their 40s. It's not long for Kai now but so far, he only seems to be improving every year.
How long till we see signs that he isn't improving and actually getting worse? Toney Freeman always comes to mind when thinking of a pro who has does well into his 40s.

Well it's hard to say, he could be like Vince Taylor, started bodybuilding later in life and so lasted a long time. He was competitive in the open at 42. 44-46 he was competitive and winning the Master Olympias, but didn't fare well afterwards - still made it to the Olympia. But by competitive it's top 5 in a Olympia or Arnold.
Toney Freeman, had a break of 5-7 years and came back and did damage, then after 44 it was over.
So I'd say 44 is a bit of a limit as far as late boomers.
Kai didn't have a big break like Toney Freeman, and he started bodybuilding at a young age unlike Vince. But I'll be guessing that his properly going to go more along the lines of Ronnie, where as he was bodybuilding but didn't properly put too much stress on the body until 30-ish? So I'd say 41-ish for Kai to be competitive.

This. I can't remember where the thread of kai's evolution, but the guy has seriously put on lots of size since 2006. From 2007-2009 he just put on more and more size. That has got to give him an extra year or two. He definitely can battle with phil for the next several years... who know what ced might bring in the near future too. Can you imagine a colossal battle between the three?
Edit: nvm.... include roelly in there too... we know its going to happen the way he has been headed
- btw, the 2011 olympia marked him as older... and lighter in weight, than he actually is/was. Don't know how they get stats like that so off.
Yes yes, cuz it was the 90s, we get it.

to win the O? probably 5 years at most imo. with phil heath being many years younger and still progressing, kai is going to have a hard time keeping up with phil.
to continue being competitive in the top 6? probably another 8 years when he's 45. by then, a lot of the newer, younger guys will have caught up."If I hit my mom back I'd be dead" - Ronnie Coleman

THIS
Wala picked a good picture, if you look at the angle Kai is stood at, then you would think Kai should have stood the same way as Freeman (no homo)
If Kai somehow sorted out his conditioning he has the mass to win, he really does not need to add that much more, maybe he needs Heath like delts, it should not take years for Kai to fix up his conditioning, he has come in off a few times now and therefore logic would say he must know what does not work and by elimination he can nail it. Wolf learnt not to eat cookies and had the GOAT comeback from 16th - 5th. Kai only needs to go up a few places in comparison. Theoretically speaking Kai could win 4 titles. 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015.TEAM WOLF + TEAM KAI +TEAM CEDRIC + TEAM ROMGLE - TEAM RAMY - TEAM FAIR JUDGING
