Hey i just started working out again and this time i am really serious about it. I am taking optimum Whey protein powder as well as creatine monohydrate. I know that i have read articles that say that its good to take protein and creatine together, but the creatine doesnt seem to disolve very well. not only that but it says to take creatine with a juice such as grape or apple - so how would i mix it with my protein powder then (which is choco mint)?
Basically im asking what is the best way for me to mix and take my protein and creatine? thanks in advance for your help.

Mix the whey with water, take a second shaker or cup and mix the mono with water (not juice). Drink them side by side.

I don't mix my creatine usually. 90% of the time I just put the serving in my mouth as powder and wash it all down at once with a big drink of water. It's faster and easier than mixing. It sounds gross but it isn't bad at all.

As a side note, I don't think there is any problem using a drink that has citric acid in it. The pH of the drink isn't anywhere near the 1-2 pH of your stomach. Personally, I'd just mix your creatine with the protein shake, and drink (as bignpisst suggested).I remember being relevant.

Right now I am using a Kre-Alkalyn creatine buffer (pill form) called "Purple K". So far it seems to be working great, and after just 3.5 weeks I am noticing some gains (I am also working out 5days a week with Whey Protein twice a day). Anybody have information/comments about "Purple K" ? Following this cycle, I plan to switch to NO Explode, as I have some friends who have gotten massive gians from it.
