    PSMF diet question

Disclaimer - I confess I haven't bought the book yet, but I'm planning to soon.

I just want to know, has anyone done this diet with a lower volume, lower frequency, higher intensity training program? I only lift two or three times a week and just focus on one compound lift when I do. With eating this few calories, am I in danger of losing a lot of muscle/strength?

Do people who do a PSMF tend to do more of a bodybuilding setup to make sure the muscles are in a constant state of use? Or do you think I am okay to do this while keeping reps low but intensity fairly high?

I'm just asking because I know the last time I did more of a crash dieting approach I was more BB style training and I got the most ripped looking then, and I'm afraid that since I don't train BB style anymore that I could lose some serious muscle mass on such low calories.

Yes, I know the whole point of the PSMF diet is that it spares muscle because of protein, but it's not just the protein that's enough, also gotta have the right training down.

Not actually planning on starting this for a while yet, just trying to get info on it before I do. Thanks

psmf comes with its own workout, which IS low volume and low frequency, it's a short full body workout twice a week, do the program exactly how it's laid out, don't fuk with it

edit: the actual program is on lyle's forum in one of the stickies

Oh okay. Yeah, guess I'll just get the book and come back with any more questions I might have.
