    Bulking, Off-Days, and Carbs.

I'm currently doing a slow, clean bulk, trying to minimize fat gains as much as possible, while still adding lean muscle mass.

Obviously, i'm not going to gain as much mass as a full-on bulk, but its summer, and I want to look decent.

I've been eating slightly above maintanance, around 2800-3000 calories.

    I'm 16, 155-160lbs, 5"11.

During my workout days, I eat carbs in every meal, and for the most part my meals are completely balanced, with the exception for pwo, and ppwo meals.

Question 1) Should I reduce my caloric intake on off days (fri, sat, sun), or reduce my carb intake?

Question 2) If I should reduce total caloric intake, by how much should this be done?

Question 3) Should I maintan caloric intake, and simply reduce the amount of carbs, as I will be, for the most part in-active? EXAMPLE: Eating carbs for Meals 1, and Meal 2, while eating protein + healthy fats in my remaining 4 meals?

Any thoughts/input would be much appreciated.

Do you just drop carb intake, or drop it and time it so you don't consume as much later in the day? Also, this has been effective?

you still need as much food for your body to repair, remember your muscles grow while you rest... the only thing you wont need on off days is pre/post workout shake/meal

I understand I still need as much food to repair.. but since i'm not lifting intensely for 45-60minutes I require less calories, I assume, hence carbs reducing/timing.
