I started working out in January of this year and have lost 49 pounds so far. I had been bartending since I was 18 and I quit my job two months ago to get my PT certification. I have now been a trainer at a local gym for a month. Complete lifestyle change! I am planning to compete in the bikini division on September 3rd and I am super excited!

Had my 3rd baby 7 (almost 8) months ago, lost 45lbs. I feel awesome. I may not have the flat stomach that I used to (due to excess skin), but I am in the best shape of my life, having a great time working out and really enjoying every minute of the ride!
Before picture is from May (3 months postpartum), when I started working out.
After picture is 4 months later.

Gosh, I know everyone says it but the hope that is given in this thread is incredible. I lurked for so long because I was really intimidated. I rarely see women with such incredible physiques IRL. But seeing that some women started where I did (or even further set back) AND THEN transform to where I'd like to be gives me hope that it's really possible.
I got fat AFTER I gave birth to my son. My weight gain (combined with other stressors) really took it's toll on my marriage. I understand it's disappointing to have the athletic 117lbs girl you married balloon into a 180+ pound landmonster but he took his disappointment to an abusive, brow-beating, depressing level. Just a horrible situation all around. I would starve myself and drop a lot of weight quickly only to have him still insulting me.
I finally realized that ****I**** was making myself miserable and needed to "cut the fat." I thought that getting rid of the abuse would get rid of the excess weight, but becoming a single mom was a bad adjustment for me. I needed to change my thought process and whole lifestyle to "get back to good."
On 07Aug11, I finally sat down and mapped out my plan. I was doing HIIT and long-distance ran twice a day. I restricted myself to water only. (Made a hugeeee difference in how I felt.) I ate simple and boring with lean cuts of protein, grilled or raw veggies, lots of spinach and fruits and perhaps some beans/brown rice. By Dec11, I was down to 130ish pounds but still hated how I looked without clothes. I should have incorporated muuccccch more weights and a sustainable diet.
So sorry for the novel but that's where I'm at now. I'm working on allowing myself some wiggle room in my diet so I can sustain without being urged to binge and I'm working on reducing the running and really intensifying my lifts.
I still have a ways to go but the fat pictures were June/July 2011 at around 175lbs +/-... Many of the "huge" pictures are long deleted.
The smaller ones were last week at around 127lbs.
